Titanfall Video Preview

Make a single player game with this then call me. Otherwise, not interested.
 
Any word on dedicated servers for PC or are they gonna fuck us like they did in Modern Warfare 2?
 
Looks kinda boring and generic. Hopefully there is a open beta or demo to try it out.

Graphics are not impressive at all.
 
The BETA is currently running at 792p and they are still working to stabilize the frame rate at 60fps. Developers say it may increase with the final build.

Seems the overclock was worth 76p :p

The graphics look kind of like borderlands or something, looks dated already but the gameplay could be really great if it's well balanced.
 
Yeah, it's not really doing it for me. First off, looks dated as hell, especially the environments. Second...they are making it sound like everyone gets a mech only 2 minutes into the match (if not sooner). That is kind of shitty...might as well just play Hawken at that point. They should be a rare commodity limited to like 1-2 per team.

I might pick this up on sale eventually but there is no way this is worth $60.
 
Uggg, my interest has decreased logarithmically with every video they have released.

Might as well install Hawken and run around in a garbage can mech.
 
I really dont understand why they just couldnt make a new tribes game with open enviroments to play in with zero AI and more players.
 
I was following this game but like some every new video has me further away from purchase. No way in hell would I fork up 60$ for this.
 
6v6? lol didn't know we time traveled back to 1995

was excited about this game -- not anymore, was tempted to spend 60 dollars for PC verion if I could have amazing graphics in 1440 --

now it's in the 20 dollar or less category in my mind.
 
The 6 on 6 also killed this game for me. That video pretty much sealed the deal. YUCK!
 
If I didn't know anything about the game beforehand, I would have thought this was a new "free-to-play" shooter after watching the preview.

THey said servers were running off dedicated MS servers not EAs if you listened too the video
 
Seems like what the original Tribes sequel should have been. Starsiege with the mechs involved as well. Unfortunately 6v6 sounds very limiting. *sigh* looks very dated now

Except it looks nothing like Tribes, IMO, gameplay-wise. Much smaller maps, no aerial combat, only one type of vehicle...
 
WTH! 100-ton mechs don't move that fast. Looks like any another trigger-happy shooter. Next thing they'll try is battleships with movement that fast.
 
Before: Adding AI players to adjust the 6vs6 issue? Sweet!
After: Why are the Pac-Man ghosts more intelligent than these never firing on a player unless the player is AFK for a minute grunts?
 
BUMmmerr, its makes me sad seeing yet another game thats following the cash cow and being safe. These devs can develop anything. Its a blank canvas. Yet its just appears to be more of the same.

I'm starting to get desperate for the next greatest thing. Where is the next BF1942? FYI, BF1942 took us to new generation of gaming enjoyment. IMHO, no game has done it since. It has been more of the same with better graphics. In some cases reductions in functionality due to cross platforming.

I have an odd feeling this game is going to fizzle out after release but Ive been really wrong before..

I agree. It will sell as well as any other EA title but, will fizzle out soon after.

You would think people would be in "wait and see mode" with this title but, no. My retarded friends that buy any game with bullets in it have already preordered and they're not even done bitching about BF4.

If people were smart and had some self control, companies like EA would be out of business or at least offer better products.:(
 
That video made me not want to buy this game. Nothing about it looked entertaining. I'd rather play a buggy bf4.
 
I want this game. It looked awesome. Still looks decent. But, it is why I held off on my PS4/XB1 decision. I feel a bit let down. Still looks alright, but it's not as awesome as I thought it was. I'm not sure whos putting in the limitations - EA or the developer to maximize performance...
 
I'll wait and see after release how people respond. Too hyped up game.
