TigerDirect 15.2% BCB

How long is the cash in your Paypal account with BCB? I hear other ways take up to 90 days sometimes.
 
For TD purchases it shows the funds will be available in 60 days. Then you can send it to PP, your bank, etc.
 
I've come to the conclusion that Tiger is not participating anymore. I was able to get the order page up a few days ago with bing cashback reflected somewhere on the order page but now no matter what I try (new tigerdirect account, different browsers [firefox wouldn't even let bing link me to tigerdirect just redirected me back to bing.com], logging out/in, clearing private data, disabling add-ons, making phone calls) TigerDirect's website just wont play nice whereas other etailers bing links to will.

Tiger, I've fucking hated you since I was 12 but now I am honestly considering bringing you and your loved ones harm. Enjoy your sleep- when you wake up, I'll be standing next to you with a machete.

Mods if you feel you have to delete this post I ask that you just delete the second graph.

Ever consider your browser choice may just be poor, and incompatible with Bing on a 100% basis, since everyone else still is having no problem? A little strong a reaction to not being able to get cashback to go through... :eek:.

No since I mentioned trying other browsers and at least two browser related potential fixes. Besides I've now tried firefox, chrome and vanilla internet explorer. No its not overly strong since I just wasted away 2 hours of my life trying to fix something that is probably unfixable. And their tech support guy was clueless and unhelpful. He wouldn't even tell me how to change my email address attached to my TD account, let alone do it for me.

If I need bcb, i just use IE8 rather than messing around with FF ---> Bing search "tigerdirect" ---> click the 15.2% banner ----> Find an item that isn't excluded from BCB ----> Checkout. All's good. Dunno what could get in the way of that?

I'm assuming you already signed up with MS for BCB with your windows Live account?
 
Ho Lee Shit. Thanks man. Had to click the banner, searching a product linking to tigerdirect or clicking their link in the bing stores wasn't enough. That doesn't change the my lasting memory of them though. Still, thanks.
 
When should it ask you to put in your windowsLive ID? When you click on the cashback banner or when you are checking out? I thought it was supposed to be when you click on the banner but I'm not getting the login screen. But I do see all the cashback links on all the items.

When you checkout, at the bottom of the screen it will have a box where it says something about Microsoft's ToS with Bing Cashback. Make sure the box is checked.

Darn...I just ordered $2000 in parts earlier this week when bing cashback was 13.2% at tigerdirect. Could have saved another $40

I'm new to BCB.. what do I do to get the cashback? I add things to my card on TG, but it doesn't say -15% or what not.. it just gives me the original price. Am I just supposed to trust it will come off later..? That's scary.

No. :)

Go to www.bing.com

Type "tiger direct" into the box, without the quotes.

You should see a banner at the top saying "Save 15.2% with TigerDirect" or something similar. Click it.

You should see a popup inside the same window saying it is redirecting you, it may ask you to sign in with your Windows Live/Hotmail ID. Do so.

Go to the products you want to purchase, add them to the cart, and you should see the cashback in the cart... if not it doesn't mean it's not there, but it generally shows it on TigerDirect.

Proceed to checkout. BEFORE CLICKING THE CONFIRMATION BUTTON to place your order, make sure there's a checkbox above it saying "I understand and agree that TigerDirect may forward my information to Microsoft's Bing Cashback program to process my reward." etc., and that it is checked. If that is there, THEN place your order.

You should receive an email within anywhere from 5 minutes to a few hours saying "You have earned a cashback reward with Bing!". Follow the instructions there.
 
Also, more on what GoldenTiger said...the 15% won't "come off" the price, it is credited to your cashback account, and after the 2 months or so you can redeem your money (check, direct deposit, etc.)

Maybe its a good thing considering the LCD is a referb. My past experience with Tiger Direct referbs has not been that great. Far from what you would expect from a manufacture refurb.

Yes, it was a coupon posted in a sticky on these forums + a EVGA rebate. Both expired but it was a fairly hot deal.
