Android Police has an exclusive first look at this year’s larger Google Pixel. Some aspects of the new design are very much a refinement of the original: the rear remains curved and features a glass window again, though it’s smaller this time around and the fingerprint scanner now sits under it. The big bezels of the first handset are gone, however, thanks to a new rounded AMOLED panel that takes up much of the device’s face. Antenna bands also appear to be no longer visible.

We rate this rumor an 8 out of 10 on our confidence scale. The reason we are subtracting two points is due to the fact that we are not confident our source material reflects a fully finalized design. As such, there is a possibility that small changes may still occur before the phone makes it into production, as we don't expect Google to announce this device before October. Still, we are exceptionally confident that this image represents the overall look and feel of Google's new smartphone, even if some small elements may not end up being representative of the final product.

Only interested if it has a user replaceable battery. I love my 6P but the battery life is starting to go down. It is a PITA to change in the 6P.

I'm about 95% sure this (or the smaller model) will be my next phone. There will have to be some sort of major oversight or shortage to lose my business this time.

More rounded glass edges so glass screen protectors don't fit without bubbles and making it harder to get the screen on the edges to recognize touch when a case is on it, woot! All for no reason, other than making it harder to hold onto. Pretty much my only gripe with my current Pixel, stop it with these rounded edges already.

I like that the bezel is smaller. The large bezels and chin/forehead on my Pixel are some of my biggest complaints.

That being said, I wish phone companies would stop rounding their screens. It makes it very difficult to get good screen protectors.

Just keep the screen nice and flat.

I haven't used a screen protector since the iPhone 3G days, so I don't really care about that. Size would be an issue I suppose. The current Pixel XL is about as large of a phone as I want/need, so this could be slightly too large for what I'm looking for. Hopefully the smaller one isn't just a "value" model.

I don't know how I feel about LG making the phone as they screwed the Nexus 5X crowd over with their bootloop issue conveniently popping up after the 1 year warranty is over.
