Is there a way to determine this on the website itself?

Their online store (http://outlet.soldam.co.jp) only lists a 'subset' of the altium and alcadia range, & doesn't even mention their other ranges.

Geez I wish I cold read Japanese, it's so painful to navigate their site...
Even if I could it'd still be difficult to make a decision because they have so many models, and their site is poorly laid out, gah!

I'm thinking only the cases listed on their store are purchasable, so maybe I'll look at them only & narrow my choices from there. What do you reckon?

Super X10 is gone. FC700 is the new succesor to Super X10. They are exactly the same. The only thing differs is the feet.
Windy lists different cases almost everyday.
They have some great deals going on for SH now.

Are all the "other" cases not listed on their shopping cart actually "purchasable"?
Or are they just concept cases & old ones no longer sold etc?

Some of them are availble time to time. Altium FC and Alcadia are the current generation Windy and they can be purchased any time.
Which case exactly are you looking for?

I'm not sure yet, I just want to know what cases are 'not purchasable', so that I can "whittle down" my choices from there.

Not all Alcadia are purchasable. Some models are sold out. Alcadia ZR3000 / XR-1 / XR-1 pro are the current generation models and they are purchasable.
Same with Altium FC. FC700 / 500 / 300 are the current generation models and they can be easily found.

SH refers to Super Hybrid. It contains both steel and metal.
 
Hey guys try the translation tool in google. It works pretty well. Allowed me to browse the website at least a little better.

1. I really appreciate k00lance bringing these cases to my attention, explaining some features, and offering to assist in their purchase.
2. I just got a Lian Li A10-B for Christmas.
3. If I can ever figure out the case/color/accessability/options that suits me, I'll probably have to have it.

I've decided to forget about a new case for the time being -budgetary constraints.
However when I do buy one in 3+ months, I will not compromise on quality now that I've seen these puppies!

The mini atx are so nice.... If I could get one the way i wanted, I'd pay the price tag. Good to know they aren't dead and koolance can you tell by any way if they will actually be selling to the US. If not, I'll talk to my friend that is stationed in Japan.

They won't be. They have no plan to mass produce these cases as the value will only go lower.
Get your friend to buy you one before sold out! :D

Doesn't have to be in the mass to sell to the US... they can have a small share but also sell direct or through a reseller here.

They are better off selling in Japan.
They did sell these cases here in the US, several years ago.
It did not go well so they decided to withdraw. The prices were ridiculously high after overseas shipping and various import taxes.
The market is not big enough for them to make profit.
 
Bumping this thread up to see who here has ordered a case and actually gotten it delivered. I have been waiting for 3 months now.

I'd call my credit card company and get my money back, nothing should take that long to recieve. I have ordered stuff from China, Japan, England, and Australia and its never taken more than about a week to 2 weeks. I sure wouldn't wait any longer.
 
I'm not dealing with Windy. I'm dealing with Koolance. He says he can't get in touch with his friend who was shipping these to the states. I paid with paypal and MO.

Noone has lost anything.
The guy in Japan is just occupied with something. He has the case in hand.
Bucken will get the case soon. We are working this out on PMs.
 
Well I've asked for Koolance to pay the money back that I sent him. In his pm's to me he stated two months ago that the guy had my case.

good luck. I think the cases are ugly as sin, but what the hell do I know? and that has nothing to do with the issue at hand, either. No one wants to lose their money, even if it is for an ugly case.
