Title says it all.

We have a bunch of people making a go for top 10 positions.

I don't think Tiger and ROC have much to worry about.... that however leave 3-10 opened for us mortals.

I know in another thread there are at least 4 people saying that they where coming for my spot. So now I have given this Epic battle a home.

All I will say is bring it, this should be good :cool:


 
Bring it on, my 2x 8800GS box is awaiting the cpu to be started and reclaim back at least the 10th rank ;)

Getting mighty interesting, I see about 8 players ATM vying for that 4-10 spot :D

 
I'll be adding the dual 9800gx2's that I picked up in the bundle from lassiterb sometime next week hopefully. Might also be adding another q6600 and 2x 9800gt's. Should be fun :)

The top 100 users list is dominated by aggregates in the highest positions. Positions 1-3 aren't individuals and position #4 is held by 'wayne' but I haven't determined if this user is one person or just another subteam. Wayne folds for team UKSL, however this user is the only active member, so who knows. Position #5 is a temporary quasi-subteam the topic of which is discussed in this thread. Position #6 is yet another unconfirmed individual.

Unless you're of the mind that aggregates should be considered, I don't really look at the Top 100 users list as accurate statistics. In my view you're already firmly entrenched in the top 15. :cool:

 
My money is on tkheadcase for the overtake, I am predicting an aproximate 20K PPD increase soon. :) Just a hunch.

Whelp it's been a poor start to a folding weekend. It started good, I added a 9600 GSO
yesterday to the farm. SO I am thinking Muhahahah, I'll be able to knock Kendrak out of
"his" spot with that 5000 ppd boost(wishful thinking). Anyways after a power outage some
time early this AM, damn it's takes a while to get farm back up and running and the sudden onslaught
of 511 point GPU2 WUs that drop production
of all 96 SP GPUs I have to about 3000ppd, normal ppd 4800-5000 Almost 40% decrease.
The 112 SP GPUs seem to fare better drop from 5300 to 3700, 30% drop.:eek:
Bottom line: no increase in production. Might have to bring on line the old school single
core processors:p I want "my" spot back :D

Well, I am shocked at the very premise of this thread. All this concentration on only 10 people who may or may not make it?

First, the obvious lack of diversity here is absolutely astonishing. What about the bottom 10 people, how do you think they will feel?

Some of the wonderful people you conveniently left out will be emotionally scarred forever, never mind how many more will be stuck out in the cold with erectile dysfunction, chronic depression and finally while seeking to buy and or steal street drugs will be caught and locked up!

After that the lower 2% on the stats list will form gangs and arm themselves and nobody will be safe.

Do you see what this kind of pressure can do to a person?? Well do you?

ahahahahah, exactly what I have sitting (E6400 and 2 8800GS + another box coming with a E1200 and 2 more free pci-e slots for future attacks).

Well, 2 days away from the house.

No power outages and so far the neighbors haven't called to say the house is on fire. And best I can tell the farm is up and running. I can pull the EOC stas up on my smart phone.

It is very dangerous to leave 11 GPUs at home with new WU on the loose.

I'm looking at the PPD rankings. Xil looks to push up into the top 10, and possibly push me down a rank in the prosses.

Possibly, but PPD varies so much from day to day. Sometimes I find myself jumping 3 or 4 places just from my own production variability whether other people are ramping or not. PPD is such a fickle thing.
