Got myself a new case and spent some time cable managing. This case as far as I'm aware is brand new and not on sale anywhere but the one place I found it local and a couple foreign places

Enermax ECB-3071

Sweet design, even better price. With all the cable management features, front USB 3, Full on paint (NIIICE finish too. ) and a SOLID feel

I paid 70 dollars.

Honestly, best budget case I've laid eyes on, and I've been cheap for a while.

[edit] EEP mind the grain... Shitty lighting and 3200 iso on a t1i does that -_-

It's looking nice. I like the case and the cable management, but please, for the love of mankind get a black optical drive. lol, im just kidding, but seriously though.

Hey nothing wrong with IDE drives. :)
Now the white bezel in a black case, that's where I see an issue. It just sticks out soooo bad. If you don't want to spend the cash on a new drive, just get a $5 can of krylon fusion and paint the thing. I've done it with a lot of things from disc drives to SATA cables.

Was pricing the drive today actually. I didn't mind on my old ghetto case but it's wayyyy too ugly here. Was actually looking for a bluray drive to replace it ;)

...and you know they ain't sellin' no mothafuckin' white Blu-Ray drives, either!!! Man's got it covered ;)

ha ha in all seriousness, though, Blu-Ray drives are still in the $50-$60 range, right? I'm really thinking about getting one myself pretty soon. It's either get a drive or get a standalone player - and I don't have an actual "TV", so I'm geared toward the drive. I mean the monitor I use is an HDCP compliant one with HDMI and all, so either one would work. But I think I'd rather get the drive and skip having to buy a switch or swap cables or any of that crap.

Er, um, anyways...for good measure, and for the sake of the rules. here's my setup. Same picture as before lol...The only difference between the picture and my setup as it is now is the wireless kb/m combo. Nothing major:

A buddy of mine pointed me back here because of the latest Unreal casemod. That one is amazing. I made this over 10 years ago (featured on [H]ardOCP in February of 2001):

I still have this at home, thought I would just share it again

look! a floppy drive! :)

My current Set up

First: New rig, i3 2100T low power Media center set up
Altec Lansing iMix 8
MacBook Pro 15 with i5 2.4GHz

Start talking...

specs in full.

Specs in sig :p Also, that setup is no more :( Temp sensor blew on the Freezone which makes it ramp up to 100% and create condensation, so on the stock cooler now until I either somehow fix it or find a new cooler.

I've got 3 of those fans in my rig. Love those things. They move good air with not a lot of noise.

Sweet, that is one of the cases that inspired me to start modding.

cyrus360, Putz and WetMacula what cases are you using? They look nice.

I think cyrus is in a FT02, I know Putz is in a FT02 and wet is in a 650D also i should mention wet has a lot of money in Noctua fan.

Wet also has a USP 9MM? with laser on his desk.

Corsair 650D case (slightly modified), (6) Thermalright TY-140 fans, (2) akasa apache black fans, all fans controlled by temperature off the motherboard headers, and the firearm is a Sig 229RM with a Surefire X400.
