Sweet deal, thanks for the tip. I picked one up along with the Fallout collection for $15. Couldn't resist reliving a classic.

They also have an EVGA NForce E-7050 mATX mobo for $36.99 AR which was hard to pass up - http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=26643&promoid=1060

tigerdirect has their 399.99 combo, Q6600, 4gig ram, mobo (650 or 680i)

Overall add in a case and PSU and you have a solid folder for under $500 add in a $110 8800GT OC2 and you got about 6-7k PPD, add a good aftermarket HSF and fans and for $700 you have 7-8K PPD+++ or more

IMO this is better:
Evga 9600gt 512mb FREE shipping 129Ar 149.99-20.00=129.99

Vs 128.00 from Zotac

Not according to this comparison.

The 8800GTS (G92) has double the shader processors @ 128 vs. 64 on the 9600GT.Compared to teh "older" 8800GTS (G80 core) that's probably true. I'll find out soon enough tho' as I'm running a 9600GT now and will swap it out with the GTS when it arrives. The 9600GT is certainly no slouch in either the gaming or crunching dept though...

@ the Egg, for the month of July, there is a handsome $30 MIR on the already attractive XFX 8800GT 512MB.

Don't get too excited though, there's a limit of 99 per customer :D

PS: Includes a copy of CoH, if that adds to it in your mind.

The Egg also has a MSI 256MB 8800GT for 99 + $30 MIR for a $69 5k PPD goodness.

I can't resist a deal like that, gotta pull the trigger....done.
BTW it is all relics fault :p

Gunning for that top 25.

This is for the Upgrade version...I think that means you need to have a copy of XP already installed for it to work. Someone who has used the upgrade version might need to post a little bit of clarification.

Mostly what I'm looking at is if you have a copy of XP but don't want the whole core to get eaten up like is does in XP you can go for this. Also an old copy of 2k will let you activate as well.

There are also other uses including
