Seriously? you wanna start over and say nothing floating? Seems like its too many rules being put... no this, no that, only this, only that... i dont see whats wrong with things now, everybody seems to have fun, i dunno. I dont play on the server as much as everybody else, but outside of "dont F*** with other peoples stuff" not sure why people need all these rules, takes the whole fun out of it being a "creative" game... i mean we have special "areas" with the rules... like in the old western area and the city area, and corsair lake, outside of those people are free to express themselves by building what they like

I agree that floating walkway with not support bugs me... even the railway i made.
 
By the way we were ''griefed', yesterday by a certain Mike404. He got a hold of a bucket and started putting water everywhere. He was using a flying mod called Zombe and flood most of the memorial , cathedral , hash, dude house , babyblue house , buck futter place near dude's.

we cleaned everything we could find... if there is more , well you know what happened.

There was another guy who showed up with him, Shadrad I believe his name was. Is it possible for G1 to look through the server logs and see if this is true? They were together, and should probably both be banned to prevent either of them coming back for more griefing.

Actually, I think the only rule I've put forward as a suggestion was no floating walkways. That's all. And like the bolded text says, it's only a suggestion from me. That doesn't mean it has to be accepted as a rule by the community.

I don't think there's really been any other rules suggested either.

That really sucks. Does the Zombe mod let them get through the builder groups limitations? It must I guess...

I can take a look around in the logs too. Maybe later today I'll get a minute.
 
Guests can pour water, it's not considered building

and they can open non private chests (until now)

no hacks needed for either of those.

As far as the vote goes, my vote goes to option #2.

A new world with a central hub of activity near the spawn, with a working economy and much larger borders sounds like it would be an absolute blast to play on.

The other day I was thinking of making a copy of the LOST island. That would be way too big of a project, but I'd love to help with the stations!

I'm halfway interested in buying this game. How does online work? Just a bunch of people running around build stuff? How many people can a server hold?

You have the run of it there. Our server can hold I think about 20 people at once. At most we have about 12 people online at once. Though it's usually more like 5. We all usually have our own builds we've done, homes, towers, mansions, mob grinders and the like. Then we have community builds too. A pirate themed lake, the Hashmang memorial at spawn and now a city.

It's really, really addictive. Watch out!
 
Well, I had a good bit of fun with Terraria, I think I'll give this a shot. It's like 20 bucks, so it'll be the most I've paid for a game in years.
 
For the record, the waterfalls on the backside of the H tower at Creeper Hill were supposed to be there. Fuckin griefer fucks. (See why I wasn't too crazy about dropping the whitelist?)
 
Illustrial was just in and informed me, I can't remember who made it, but the hotel outside of corsair was ruined, lava and water poured on it... it's pretty well trashed.

Oh shit! Do we know if this happened during the griefer attack? Or after? I don't remember who built it, but I don't think he plays on the server anymore...
 
Mike404, Shadrad, and xxtheonlyxx are the people that I've noticed on the last 2 days that were guests, all 3 are banned

He's not an admin ;)

I play usually pretty late at night; like 11pm PST. Other admins play at different hours; Fweeple seems to play at random hours, Insomnibyte plays I think mornings PST, and Zexx plays afternoons PST I think.

I'm not sure on our current admin count, but me, Fweeple, Insomnibyte, and Zexx are all admins. There might be more???
