The Official HardCraft Thread

I don't see hardcraft to returning. The reliable trust worthy people play on dudes, so I can't see anyone stepping up and leaving what's already been established.
 
Since this thread is almost 100 pages long (on 40 post view mode lol), I have a suggestion. We could make a Social Group and have our discussions there. That way, the discussions are still on [H], but instead of everything being confined to one huge thread, there would be a group that people can post multiple threads in.

I've already created one as an example.. It's here. I can transfer ownership of the group to one of the server admins if you guys like the idea... or just delete it if you don't lol.

If it wasn't a fake or joke tweak from Notch, I think with hardcore mode turned on, if you die the world is deleted.
 
Came across a weird bug tonight; I can't place a door in a specific spot... And just a few blocks away, I can't place another block...

I'd say I hit the boundary of the world, but I can place blocks all around the entire block that I can't place anything on...

Anyone else had something like this happen? I place the block, it appears for a second, then goes back into my inventory.

ADX had the same problem
 
Yep I (ADX321 in minecraft) had the same problem and like a good server admin nk told me it was my client :)

I have yet to reinstall to see if he's right or confirm that it's somehow Buzzers fault for losing all his iron :)

ADX had the same thing happen, he gave me the door, and I could place it in the same spot where he could not. Very strange stuff.

It's a good idea, but it's just something else I'd have to check and not everyone will use it from stubbornness or not knowing it exists.

You can set it up so you get an email notification whenever someone posts in a group, but I do agree that it could be hard to get everyone to use it.
 
not if we make the final post in the thread the link with the information to tell people where to do and then get a nice mod of sorts to lock the thread down... force people to use it >.>

Got any patience? My god. All this because nk was AFK and couldn't psychically add you to the build list with his telekinesis powers. I know he's a corrupt admin, BUT COME ON! :rolleyes:

And to be honest, after the way you acted because you weren't getting your way, I personally wouldn't have added you even if I was active and had the ability to do so.

what I don't understand is why there hasn't been an official thread started for Dudes server. Is this a way he can advertise his under the "Official Hardcraft thread"? If he wanted to take over what has already been established, it seems to me he would of done it already.

well some time back I heard that Insom might take over, then I heard about Oldie maybe. I don't know if they are still willing or able, but I have been keeping up with the thread and haven't heard much more about either 1 of them doing it.
 
Like G1 posted, it's probably not going to happen anymore. There are only a few people that don't play on dude's server. Is someone really going to host a server when most of the community is already playing on another server? I dunno. I said I was willing to pay for one before, but there's not really a point when dudewth already has a great server with 42 slots.

As it stands, it's pretty confusing. Is dudewth's server just going to become hardcraft, will there be a new server, or will hardcraft just fade away? Who knows...
 
I'm waiting for 1.9. Maybe the official release depending when 1.9 comes out.

How is he abusive? This is what I don't get, people keep going on about how bad the admins are... yet don't give any sort of example? Don't heir grievances in any way, other then bitching...

But what IS known, and admitted by yourself, is that you're a thief. So anyone who runs a server, here's a tip; ban BlueToast right off the bat. :rolleyes:

It seems this is the most likely situation. [H]craft will just fade away. Seems it already has for the most part?

Nice try. My server (which was initially posted by other users, not myself) was meant to be a temporary server while hardcraft was sorted out. I've had the server since August, before hardcraft went away, and never once told anyone here about it. I've told everyone that my server is NOT hardcraft. If hardcraft is brought back then I have no problem with people moving back to it. I will continue to play on my server.

Hi Cerulean/Blue Toast. I'm sorry I wasn't around when these incidents occurred, but I trust the people I've made admins and I stand behind their decisions. We both know that there were some questionable actions that took place and it was made clear that everyone should leave other people's things alone beforehand.

Hi Daniel. I am in agreement with you on one point. My server is not the server for you. Your comments when you joined were childish and showed that you would not be a desirable member of the server. I wish you the best of luck in finding another server to play on until hardcraft is brought back.
