Heey I need ice! I use it for water runs and mechanisms! It's not like its a naturally gatherable substance! :eek: Also no longer will water be viable in the nether/usuable to submersion projects/blue glass etc!

Aren't apples only found in dungeons?
 
Remember people, that list is not composer and are only suggested prices. Feel free to make your own suggestions and whatnot. I was just helping out g1 like he asked. You can do the same.

If we switch to an Economy system, a lot of the duplication and special crafting will go away. The crafting and duplication was an alternate way to get items that are either harder to get or are limited because of the border. If we go economy then the reason behind it is now void.

Bonemeal extras = gone
Special crafting = gone (diamonds, clay, ice, apple tree)

having both would flood the economy making it go down the shitter.. like the US :-P

well the economy on the server would be , you sell everything you want , to buy anything you need. No real supply and demand , so we couldnt flood the economy at all. Give items easily done a value so stupid people wouldnt care. I love being able to grow flowers and grow trees.

thats my vision of the economy concept on the server.
 
The economy is still a ways away citycraft has been canceled, will give us more time to fine tune the prices.
 
And by flood the economy as in make it too easy to buyhard to get items making prices go up to counter it.

I haven't looked at one yet, the last one I used was iConomy but bukkit has so many modds that integrate with it I have plenty of options.

It was canceled cause it was too big to do like I wanted to.

I like the shears. Leaf blocks, yay! I hate, hate, hate the TNT change though. That is ultra lame.

I guess everyone had better do all of their blasting before the server gets updated, because redstone circuits every time is going to be a huge PITA. Thankfully a good portion of the slimepit is already done, or it would take forever.
 
A single redstone torch should trigger a block of TNT, just sucks to have to waste one each time.
 
You could right-click TNT holding a redstone torch and it was enough to fire it off.. Has that changed?
 
Gah why does it need redstone?
Can you trigger it with flint+steel?
I'm assuming you can still strigger TNT with other TNT?

I'm pleased about the fences thing though! Will make portcullis/posts much much easier! The leaf blocks things will also be good for placing leaf blocks in decorative gardens (can make hedges with posts)

I would assume TNT still triggers other surrounding TNT blocks -- is this not the case?

I typically run 1 long redstone fuse to a small cluster of tnt anyway.
 
I suppose it does make loading a canon much safer... But is still kind of silly... They should add gunpowder trails. They already have the textures/items!

That's neat, but without a grinder, gunpowder is pretty rare. While redstone isn't. So why not just continue to use redstone?

Also, flint+steel does set off TNT. So just use that?

Its good about the flint+Steel :D

But redstone is a finate resource, while gunpowder isn't I know that TNT isn't anyway because of the sand. But sand is at the surface, in huge quantities. Redstone is at the bottom in not so huge quantities. :p
 
When will the server be updated?
when i try logging in it says that I can't connect because the server is outdated.

Should've used the MC launcher that allows you to choose if you want to update or not. Notch has another bugfix coming tomorrow, and who knows how many after that.

Time to go play MC and steal your diamondz.

i do use the launcher, but i chose to update since i thought i should at the time......you cant take what i dont have

shouldve warned you before.... the server doesnt get patched right away. I am going to zip up my MC folder and send it to you so you can rejoin till it gets patched
 
i thought I removed the personal files from it and it wouldve worked for just a copy and the game would be played.

nvm then.

Future reference. dont update the game unless it says the server is updated in here :D
 
Don't use the Slimepit warp! Instead use Slimepit2 until I can get ahold of arr4ws so he can change the original one. Fweeple wasn't able to remove it so he made slimepit2 for us. If you use the Slimepit warp you may fall through the map, we built a rail system and the station is on top of where the original warp goes to. The new warp, slimepit2, is safe.

If you do start falling quickly warp somewhere else. You will still die but your stuff will there.

bukkit has updated it's RB to 1.7.2... wow... they says it's in record time lol

I'll start looking for all the updates for out plugins. Some plugins might not work until they are updated, some might... I'll try to make a list of plugins that don't work.
