Unfortunately all I have available are 2GB and 4GB sticks.
No worries! Thanks for checking.

Unfortunately my 1150 board with 2 slots now only has one functional. So might pop in an 8GB or junk it and get a new board, but seems kind of pointless to pay $50 or whatever on ebay for an 1150 board.

It took me two weeks, a very sharpe pen shape knife, Intel socket 1050 diagram, and a magnifying glasses to straighten the socket pin that was breaking the DIMM slot. Think I have spare 8gb ddr3, let me check when I get home.

Hmm didn't think of that. Let me see if I can see inside the socket and if anything looks bent.

It was fairly difficult process. Since the pins were so small, I was not able to find the correct bent pin until I downloaded the 1155(Sandy Bridge) socket diagram and narrow it down to the section that was connected to that particular DIMM slot. Even then it wasn't until I pulled the mb out and had it under the bright sun that I was able to straighten it with a blade. For me it was definitely not happening without the magnifying glasses and having the mb out with excellent diffused lighting.

I was able to straighten ~12 bent pins to revive a evga sr-x (lga 2011). I did it with a phone camera zoomed in, xacto knife, and natural lighting. Its definintly possible if thats where the issue lies

I don't think there's a Northbridge chipset on LGA 1150 so that DIMM slot is connected directly to the cpu? Or at least that was my conclusion when my DIMM slot didn't work. It must have been a bad busted DIMM slot which visually inspect to be fine or bad socket(bent pin)

Looks like it was a bent pin in the socket. I completely forgot Intel had socket pins and not chip pins.

Both sticks of Ram register now! Sadly I only have 2GB DDR3 at home. But gotta change the CPU back to the i5 from the Pentium I shoved in there to test. Lets see if the socket stays alive when I change it tomorrow.

I have a couple of these guys. Thought they were 8 gig sticks but when I plugged it in there were only 4 GB each. Since they're 2400 an older FX970 chipset board does not support it but a newer Intel one does.

Looks like a 2x4GB stick but unsure this pos board takes it. Putting this in a Dell 88DT1, their LGA1150 Inspiron.

You're in luck. I'm currently disassembling a g3258, z97 pc mate, 2x4gb ddr3 combo at the moment. Will post pics in a bit. I updated the bios before taking it apart. Should be fully functioning.

board: https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/Z97-PC-Mate/Specification
Right after I got that board up and running! But no comparison to that dell board; can't even change the fans of cooler on that board without it throwing boot errors.

Much appreciated. Just sent a PM/

Does anyone have a CPU+motherboard available that could be used to test some fully buffered ECC DDR2?
FBDIMMs? I could test them in my Dell 2950 or HP DL380 G5, but it would take me a while since it's at a different site than I'm usually at. Would make a good project during the winter though as that will generate some nice heat. :)

Yep FBDIMMs :D :D

Anyone has a crappy sound card willing to part out with? My on-board sound died on my 11 year old ASUS mobo.
I presume it has at least one PCI slot given the age? I might have something, I'll need to test it first.

A few items if anyone is interested, just cover shipping:
Cisco SF100D-05 v2 and power supply
Ablegrid AP0505UV power supply (5v, 5a, neg.-C-pos.) (not sure on the barrel size)
Rainbow Six Collector's Edition
Torment: Tides of Numenera CE box/contents.
Also have a non-working Dualshock 4, a couple Xbox 360 power bricks, and a Seagate STT320000A (no tapes to test with) to add to the list. I think the issue with the DS4 is the charge/light/USB board.

Is anyone interested in a Dell Latitude D630? No AC adapter included. It hasn't been turned on in a long time. I would ship it via FedEx later this month, which will cost $30.60 in the USA (possibly slightly less if you're near Southern Nevada). I don't recall that the specs are anything to write home about. It may have a mechanical hard drive. I bought it here on the forum and hardly used it. It's an old computer. Please note that I would have to ship it out two weeks from today because of my schedule. PM is the best way to communicate because I don't check this thread.

What’s wrong with the DS4

If anyone wants a cable modem that only support up to DOCSIS 2.0, I have one. Just pay shipping.

Model: Linksys CM100. Comes with its own power adapter.

It doesn't receive any power. I checked the battery and it started charging in a functional controller but I don't recall if I also tried the USB board from the working controller. Someone else messaged me about it and I can get back to you if they decide against it. If you're interested.

I have a "4 in 1" black car charger, possibly used once or twice. It has two standard USB ports and a small digital voltmeter display for monitoring your car's electrical state. (I'm not sure why they call it "4 in 1".)
Send me a PM.

I want it

I have an almost new HP Mini G6 case, was going to keep for a custom paint job, but I have too many projects, currently is all black
Possibly someone can use it for a Rpi project ?
Pic with sizes coming
Just looking for shipping cost, can also include an AC adapter of different wattages (HP 65w, HP 90w, HP 150w) if you can use 1 of them

I'll take it! I'm building a custom 3D printer and need a housing for the driver board and Rpi and this looks to be perfect.
