The [H]ardForum Perpetual Freebies Thread

Whatever the rPi sd boot maker utility configures it as. I just pick the image, the sd card and hit go. Has always worked before.
I read a bunch of the faq entries and it lights up as it should be working but there is no display. I’ve tried the force hdmi and several other tips but nothing. The last resort was try a different sd card.

anyone have one of those pci bracket usb 2.0 things? Could use either 1 or 2, either 2 port or 4. Like this:

I have 2x TP-Link TL-WDR3600 routers. Both turns on but I cannot reset them to factory defaults. I don't know the password to get into them. I've tried many times now, they are about to go into the e-waste. Both have their power adapter and antennas.

Do they not have a reset button you press with a paperclip?

Power ON the router. Locate the WPS/Reset button on the right side of the rear panel. Press and hold the WPS/Reset button for approximately 8 seconds (make sure you hold it for more than 5 seconds). Release when the the SYS LED becomes quick-flash from slow-flash and wait while the router reboots to its factory default settings. PS. The SYS LED is the second led on the front panel – the one that looks like a small sun.

Did all of that. Also did the 30-30-30. Nothing seems to works.

If you can't manually reset with the little button you might have luck with the method detailed here:

https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=934517

It requires opening up the routers, accessing the inside and hooking up the router via the serial header to a computer. It looks like the guide is for version 1.x models so before you try it see if your routers are eligible for this method.

Thanks for the info but I already spent too much time on it. I did flash one of them to DD-WRT. The other is stock.

R9 290, HD7770 on the house .. just pay shipping.

FWIW, I'll dust the cards down before shipping. The R9 290 does have some quirk about it - the fans spin at 100% no matter what. I'm not going to stress test either card, but IIRC both worked last I had used them. (been a while)

To CEO_OF_CBT these go.

I've already posted a WTB in FS/T, but I'll say here as well that I'm looking for a cheap GPU with HDMI 2.0 support. If I don't get any bites here or there, just about anything with an HDMI output will do so I can get my PC running again.

EDIT - THE STUFF IS ALL GONE

I'm tired of looking at this crap in my basement. I will never get to using it. I don't remember what CPU is in the motherboard but it looks like there is (2) 2GB sticks of ram in it.

It all worked the last time I messed with it, which was a long time ago. Case is a Bitfenix Prodigy. https://www.bitfenix.com/products/chassis/mini-itx/prodigy/

If you come and pick it up - make it easy for me with no BS excuses why you are late etc. etc. - you can have it for free.

What you see is what you get, nothing else. YOU TAKE EVERYTHING NO PARTING OUT.

Thanks for looking! I'm in Sterling Heights, MI . 48314
