The Great AC Multi-Tool Contest

What in the world are "speedholes" ???
seen those silly non-functional holes some people add to the hoods of their civics to make it look like they have intercooled turbo with through-hood cold air intake? those are speed holes........when there isn't any change under the hood to back them up.

it's even worse when they also have the sound effect generator.......and the car STILL accelerates like an economical small sedan........

here's my vote: the largest opening is not a bottle opener. it is for attaching the thing to a staff of presisely the correct height, that when held in the right place, at the right time, will illuminate the location where the arc of the covenent is hidden on a scale model of berlin.

moving the jumpers of the aquero to a setting indicated only in the german language version of the manual will make it become burningly hot and sear the correct legth for the staff into your hand.

the scale model is disguised as a decorative sculpture in the lobby of A-Cs head office. just don't get caught trying to decipher the location, or they will put you in a room full of snakes and walls of precisely machined silver and slicked with AC fluid, to make sure that you can't climb out.

i could go on....i think that's enough time watsted for me........back to structural geology..... :(

Probably true... are you perchance a German Engineer? :D
no just a guy who likes their work. :p i was a "Thermal Engineer" (title only) for a while.. it was really just R&D though.

what you do is 4 or 5 if you want, put 1 on each finger through the beer opening hole and there you go. instant pronged brass er aluminum er steel whatever nuckles used for defending your really expensive computer or for just decorative BLING

According to Sharka "The Aqua Computer Multi Tool is is a handy little tool box tool for using with your Aqua Computer components and fittings. This tool can be useful for loosening or tightening fittings of 13, 15, or 19mm such as the Plug & Cool straight and bent fittings. The center hole can be used for Plug & Cool 8mm OD tubing. Lastly, the top is a bottle opener which makes this an ideal tool to keep around or bring to LAN parties."

But what's the holes for? :D We all know that the hole is 8mm, but what purpose does it serve? Also what do the other two holes do?

Theory 2: When mounted through the larger hole people incorrectly identify as a bottle opener on The Staff of Ra which is exactly six kadam in height (but then you have to take back one kadam to honor the Hebrew God) and held in position in the Well of Souls in Dusseldorf, sunlight shining through the two smaller holes will show you the path to the Temple of Small Bore Cooling. Remember: No matter what happens, don't open your eyes or your face will melt off.

Oh sure... just tell everyone the secret... now everyone will have a burned off face too! Damn you spoiler people... always ruining it for the rest of the "still-have-my-face-attached" people!

Jesh... Next thing you're going to tell them is that if the child-like ruler touches their chest he'll pull out their hearts or something! What's next... that the call is coming from *inside* the house? That the hotter than the child-like empress is really evil? You're messing it all up!

Figured we really needed the big guns here so I posted a welcome to the guys and gals of bit-tech.net in the UK and the AC Forum in Germany.

sorry for stealing your thunder. i knew that i should have read them all.

do you have the hat as well, indy?

ever need to clean it? :D

That comic is almost as funny as the flash annimation making fun of AD&D players:

"I cast magic missiles at the darkness!"

...if only I could find that link... ah well.

This is a close second (or maybe third): The Acts of Gord

the holes are there to tighten & loosen the various size screws on feeding frenzy? :)

well to me its only good to open bottels it hurt my hand doing any thing eles with it

:D

the two wholes are for key chains/neck chain, middle tube is for bending the water cooling tubing inside of your pc to your liking! too bad I dont have a water cooling system =\

Either that, or it fits on top of the staff of kings, and we use this and the staff to open up Tal Rashas tomb, while getting extremely wasted!

Top Nurse said:
Not bad Not bad :D But what's the hole in the middle for?

yo can slip it over the ac tubing while pressing down on the tool on to the fitting it will release the ac tubing

Yes that works and I suspect that was it's intended use.

Ahh... AC or Mazzer tubing doesn't have any problem with bending like big tubes do. :p

Okay so it's a hard job, but somebody has to do it. Here are the current Semi-Finalists in the The Great AC Multi-Tool Contest. And were still taking answers. :)

I would have to say one hole is for a Keychain, one is for a lanyard and perhaps the center one could possibly be used to attach a pocket clip add on. or any combination of those things.

knaSen said:
The smaller holes is for hanging the tool on a lanyard, keychain, neck-chain/strap or similar, yes I know one has already posted this. But I think the bigger hole in the center is for measuring the correct tubing-size! And maybe one of the smaller ones are for measuring the center of a tubing, or maybe not.

bottom 2 holes are so you can put a nice chromed chain through them and wear it as bling when you go out!

smartdude24 said:
I actually talked to the fine people at AC last week and they told me the holes were there so that you can spin this puppy on your pencil when you are bored during class.

sprocket said:
This seems the most likely explanation, but why are the two smaller holes offcenter in their little rectangles? This would drive a German engineer crazy so there must be a damn good reason,eh?

Ockie said:
Could it be perhaps for the barbs of your radiator to go through? Like Pilot holes and positioning for your barbs of your radiator to poke through your case?

And maybe the big hole is for how big you must make the hole for their piping to fit through?

They're there to make people ask questions.

customholle said:
...then the rest of it you punch out and make into little fake coins and ask aqua computer if they will take them as bling money for 200 bucks a peice.

nah, my mom does lol.

I think I will have to throw that idea in the suggestion box at work. :D

Also I have an entry here from bit-tech.net:

QUOTE = Bbq.of.DooM:

"Obviously, they are for you to attach the 16 feet of mazzer tubing we ALL know you have, for when someone wants to steel your pc, you just swing it around like a mad insane cowboy, and smoke them in the head."

EDIT: Now how did he know I got like a roll of about 16 feet in my closet???

it is obviosly part of a bridge stick for pool. the middle hole is where you attach it to the stick, the large hole is obviously for opening a fresh brew, and the little holes are some sort of modern aiming mechanism designed by those crazy germans...

Gotta give it to Derrick70 or the guy from bit-tech because that idea was just insanely funny, but seriously Derrick70 screwed that thing onto his comp for our benifit

:(

Big tubing sucks...

Bends like crazy...

The only thing stopping me from converting to 6mm is my D5. :(

Any1 know any modds to make the D5 take plug and cool fittings?

Another photo submission from bit-tech.net by Firehed.

Left opening is for the G1/8 fittings
Right opening is for the G1/4 fittings (straight for both)
Bottom is for the Eheim 1046 (and Aquastream, I'd imagine) thread converting thing
Center hole is for getting tubing off - thread that down the tube and use it to push on the pushfit connector (obviously, it only works at one end or if you cut the tubing)
The top is obviously a bottle opener
The bottom holes are for what's in the pic

Do I win anything?

where are your car keys?

What would you need car keys in Germany for? They are so environmentally concious they wouldn't think of driving around in a car when the train or bus would do. Besides cars are for exporting to silly Americans. :D

use the holes to put through a loop on your ear/nose/bellybutton/whatever you have periced?

lol
