The best noise reducing cage I've used lies in the Antec P180. It's mostly the soft, silicon mounts used. Any ideas on where to find those?

hmph, those are pretty decent temps for a prescott, but the load video card temp is kinda high but its not soo bad i guess since its stock cooling, you think a silencer would work great in this case?

it wouldn't work for me , as i have a audigy in my last pci slot (only 2 pci slots total on my board) an im thinkin it may get in the way :-( but im sellin the card i thought the temps were pretty good for a card OC'ed to 600memory/600core :)

nice case, but dont you hate the way the audio cable splits and sucks wicked bad??
I can't use the front audio cable because of that. Those split cables aren't shielded so I get interference from stuff. I hate it. I'm just going to get a dedicated sound card.

nice ninja and zalman gpu heatsinks ;) care to list system specs?

CM Stacker 810 w/ Window
4 x silverstone 120mm 1200rpm
OCZ Powerstream 520 SLI
DFI Expert
Opteron 170
Scythe Ninja w/ silverstone 120mm 1200rpm
2 x 1GB Patriot PC3200CL2
WD 74GB Raptor
WD 150GB Raptor
2 x Hitachi 250GB
2 x BenQ 1655 DVDRW
Mitsumi Floppy + Media reader
2 x 7800 GTX 256
2 x Zalman vf700-cu
X-Fi Xtrememusic
15% Love and Kisses

Everything's great cept for a couple minor issues. The NB Fan on this board spins at ridiculously high speeds and drives me up a wall. Ordered an Asus A8N SLI Premium...I hear the nb cooler's pretty quiet :p

Speaking of volume, the 2 vf700-cu's aren't all that quiet either. With both fans right on top of each other the noise ain't fun :( Part 1 of the fix for that's on the way. Part 2's the Arctic Cooling Accerlo (gayest name ever btw)...which will be available sometime soon. *crosses fingers*

Then there's the psu. It's hot...really freakin' hot! The Antec HE 550 I had previously may have not had to deal with an extra video card, but it was still much cooler loaded than the OCZ is @ idle. I'll probably be sticking that psu back in the rig shortly. Plus the cables looked nicer. (tighter mesh)

Other than that, she haulst all kinds of butts. Except for F.E.A.R. which STILL can't run nicely @ 16x12 4xSSAA...

ah its a shame to hear that the zalman coolers arent that quiet :( and beware of the NEo HE bc it has problems with the asus sli premium too iirc ;)

Why did you get that big PSU? There is no reason to have something that big. Also, why don't you mount it in the bottom of the case... then you dont have to have it sticking out.

I thought it was the AN832 that had issues with said psu...gonna have to do some more research.

Just to qualify my noise findings on the vf700-cu:

-I'm a noise nazi.
-The noise produced by 5 1200RPM 120's proves VERY soft, subtle, and quiet. This is my baseline and in a quiet room...it's love!
-The zalmans spin at 2400RPM on full speed and can be heard VERY well. Now if I take it down to 5v, the noise goes down considerably. But having the extra cooling power and not using it "hurts" my inner being.

Nope, it's a casetek 1018 - not a Coolermaster ;)

The "original" one is the ACTS200 :) it has 6 HDD bays in the front and not 4 like the newer models  But teh quality isn't as good as the 201(Power button, front intake mesh)

I believe he was referring to the fact that you put two beige drives in an otherwise nice looking black case.

i wanted to paint the inside of my centurion with uv paint so it would be bright. but my parts got here faster, so i put it together instead of buying the paint. although i think i might try it on a old generic case i have to see how it would look.
