So far it's pretty lame (?)
3158 MHz.
I wonder what the other folks (lopri) are doing right to get 3600 with the same type of setup?
I PMd him to find out.

Yea I PM'ed FORNOWAGAIN because he has a similar setup to mine and he has the same week, L623 as mine. I saw he used the 903 BIOS for the P5W DH, maybe it's a better OC'ing BIOS? :p

Got some new E6300 stable records! Weeeee!

Oh mentok I just noticed when I read my entry that I made a typo on the voltage. I said my vcore was 1.4675 but that is not possible given the increments of .0125 V increase. My voltage is actually set to 1.4625 V.

Ok I have changed it in my document. You will see the change next time I update.

My recent build is an E6700 at 1.5v running at 3400mhz (340x10) dual prime stable, Asus P5W DH bios 1011, WD Raptor 150, 2gb Corsair 8500 at 2.2v 1020mhz 510 2:3 at 5-5-5-15, Ati Radeon X1900xtx, Enermax 535w SLI ready power supply, heatsink thermalright xp90-c with Panaflo 90mm high output fan. Case Xaser II with 5 80mm fan at medium speed. Oh and Soundblaster Audigy card. My temps run between 28 idle and 54 dual prime depending on case fans, on high can keep system under 50 degrees at all times.

I don't know how to post pictures in here, but I hope that link and information is all you need to put me on the list.

My stable OC is only 2.8 Ghz. I don't know how people get 3.2 Ghz with theirs but it is good enough for now. Maybe I have a bad chip.

Is that 4GHz result stable? If it is not I would put in the not stable section but I can't do
that because you already have the 4,658 overclock using that CPU and that motherboard.

I was going to send you a PM with the above message but you mailbox is full.:(

Turns out a faulty 79GT...who knew?...had been foiling all my previous attempts. The above has been accomplished with only .1 on the MCH and FSB. Vcore's still stock and it seems my RAM will be the limiting factor here as it dies out around 925. I've got an E6400 sitting on the desk, but now I'm wondering if I owe this proc some true RAM love. That or maybe I can send a message to !ntel and get my multiplier unluck code for the low low price of...an E6800...bastards! Anyway, it's glad to have finally resolve my "crashing in picasa, crashing in Quake 4, crashing when sending an IM" issue. :p

EDIT: Changed !ntel cause those little links are giving my ADD ADD.

What is your BIOS version and L6##A### code?
Also that screenshot shows a 50 minute benchmark run which means that overclock will be in
the not stable section of the database until you can provide a pic of a 4 hour or more run.

Huzzah!
Dan and/or Kyle have linked to this thread in the last page of [H]ard|OCP's Asus P5B Deluxe review!
I have already read it and enjoyed it, you should as well. ;)

Have only done intial testing of CPU but havent touched the RAM yet. Will be getting a TDX tonite and begin WC testing in the next couple of days.

Ran Orthos overnight with no issues. Only problem I have encountered is mounting stock cooling properly. Really, really did not want to seat correctly. Other than that, these are a delight to work with (other than the XBX hard lock restoring).

Is CPU Z reading your memory timings incorrectly? It says 5-7-7-23, not 4-4-4-12.

Please be more specific than just "stock voltage". Stock voltage often depends on the
motherboard used. Also what BIOS version are you using?

I noticed your Orthos window says "7 minutes and 16 seconds". Did you run it successfully
for more than 4 hours? If you say that you did I will trust you.

Yeah I forgot to take a screenshot this morning after I ran Orthos all night. Its stable. Just set it up to take another screenshot. It's legit

Sry:) Using 1334 BIOS with 1.3Vcore DMM tested.

Anyone know how to turn of C1E on the XBX???I have EIST shut off but I get 1.1Vcore at idle.

I was wondering that too but the SPD tab says 4-4-4-12 and so do the specs for the model I bought on the package and on the zzf site. Havn't found a way to change the timings on my DS3.

I also bit on a $420 deal for another DS3/6400. Should I...

1. Get some 1000Mhz RAM and give the E6300 a chance to breath.
2. Use E6400 w/ current RAM, hope for 3.600Ghz and call it a day.

EDIT: Changed Vcore to 1.325 from 1.350.

B2 E6600 are growing on the board day by day , cant wait.

Also got the syte Infinty today , yipeeee. The 590SLi left.

You guys should post some not stable overclocks for me. Crank it up so high that you can

still looking to push it a bit further. seems stable enough, although i haven't run prime95 yet.

Question...what's default AUTO Vcore on DS3 @ F4C Bios? I put 1.35 for my post, but EZ Tune shows 1.33 and cpuz show's 1.312

aight peeps i'm having a whole slew of problems, and OC'n on intel is new to me. i'm so confused! hehe.... umm... somehow i'm at 3GHz so i guess i'm doin something right. ;p let's see i've got an msi 975x, with an e6400, and 2gb of ocz 6400 plats. my fsb is at 375 right now with auto volts on cpu 1.9v on the ram. i'm tryin to hit 400 but am kind of reluctant to go that high because i'm using stock cooling atm. my noctua hsf doesnt come in til friday, that's when i'll go all out, but 'til then i get to work out all the kinks in this thing (lots of problems with these mobos). well for the time being i'll let yall scope out some screenshots.
