A company called Amber Garage has developed a virtual reality experience called City VR that uses Google Earth maps to allow you to explore San Francisco like a giant. All they need now are destructible environments and they'd be all set. After that, they could add Godzilla, King Kong and Giant Man costumes. :)
 
Looks cool, if they do this for all the worlds cities, you won't have to pay for weekends away o_O
 
Oh my god, a Godzilla VR game where you are Godzilla...that would be amazing.

This looks...okay. I wish the buildings were more detailed than Google Maps-level textures, though.

Oh there's about to be a bunch of downtown skyscrapers getting violated in a terrible fashion.
