I just got all my parts in and just finished setting them up. My specs are: Intel E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz, Crucial Ballistix 2x1GB PC2-8000 DDR-1000, EVGA 680i, 2x Seagate SATA. My water cooling parts are: Pro-120 Hi Performance Radiator (http://www.dtekcustoms.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=103&HS=1), Swiftech MCP655 pump, Danger Den Copper TDX water block and a D-TEK Bay-Reservoir (http://www.dtekcustoms.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=159). I have two 120m fans on the radiator and am using the push and pull method. I have the system setup as Reservoir -> Pump -> Radiator -> Water Block -> Reservoir. Now I used this setup for my old 939 opteron 165 rig, but with a different and crappy pump and water block. I oc'd my opteron to 3Ghz and the temps were great where I got 31-32C idle and 37-39C load. Now I switched to the Intel system and I am getting horrible temps. I first started the system on stock and was getting 34-35C idle and 41-42C load. Right now I have my system oc'd to 3.24Ghz and the temps are now 45-46C idle and 49-50C load, which is scaring me because I'm afraid the temps will go crazy if I play any games or do anything stressful. I have the cpu voltage set at 1.37V, I've played around with the voltage and I could go as low as 1.36V but it wasn't fully stable, and the memory voltage set to 2.0V. I've looked at other threads around here and see people getting in the low 30's and even 20's for their temps with the same cpu. Now my question is should I invest in better parts and also how can I go about getting lowers temps?
