So i started folding on my 1090t. I signed up for Team 33 after reading about the EVGA pass. So far, I have contributed 126pts :D for the [H]orde! I want to sign up on hardfolding, but i can't find my user ID?
Its late and i'm in zombie mode.

It takes a few hours for the stats system to catch up. Its not real time.

Also are you running the SMP client on that? You should be getting several thousand points per day (PPD).

Make sure you check out the sticky, or http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1550668

If you have any questions just ask and someone will help you.

Welcome to the Addiction :)

welcome to the team. and make sure you set the -smp flag on your smp client. you should be getting way more then 126 points, should be between 480-920 points for your first 10 then you will be in the 6-8k points per WU range after those. just make sure you setup a passkey and put it in your client.

btw you dont have to sign up at the hardfolding page but if you want to your user ID is 2004708

Welcome to the [H]orde dj_taboo! Glad to have you folding with us! :D

Welcome to the Mighty [H]orde, by far the best folding team on the planet. If you aren't addicted yet, wait a while. You'll be checking each update to see how your rig did, and walking around muttering, "I need more D"

Did you go and sign up for a passkey yet? If you have and have set up your client with it, you will start earning a bonus after 10 work units have been completed by the bonus deadline. The bonus is what brings in the points with the SMP work units.

Just make sure to run with the -smp flag enabled so that you don't get the classic uniprocessor stuff, and you will be ready to go. Welcome to the team!

Once you upgrade your cpu cooler and do somet overclocking, those Thubans will produce some nice production.

As well as no monies and doing chores around the house (including some fixups or household buys) just to keep the wife at bay. In addition to the usual (hiding the CC statement or switching to paperless and only supplying your own email address). :D

Welcome to the team!

Not sure if i'm doing it right. When i started i think i picked up the systray version. I downloaded what i thought was the smp version. All i see is command line stuff at the moment.

Ahh, yeah you will want to pick up the SMP client which is on the beta high performance client page over at Stanford. Just follow that link that Monkey just posted as it has all of the info you need. As of right now, you are running the classic uniprocessor client.

If you want to use an easier application, you can use this one as well. Just make sure to sign up for a passkey and make sure to change the default team to #33 as it is defaulted to that other team.

The SMP client does run via the command line. System tray versions are available only for the GPU and single-processor clients. If you follow my guide that sirmonkey linked earlier, you shouldn't have any trouble getting SMP set up. If you have any questions, post them here or in that thread and I will be happy to help you out.
