I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, I dont think he owns a store. If anything he works at a store. Sure sounds like one of those kids at Microcenter that think they know everything.

I dont agree with him at all, a ton of people are still going to wait for Kepler to be released, and most people dont even follow all these rumors very closely or give a fuck about them.

Also, theres plenty of people buying 7970's that will dump them for Kepler if it really is that much better. nVidia has nothing to worry about at this point.

Personally I think he works at Best buy, but thats me.

And yes people will sell the 7970's if kepler is that much better.

Thats what I did. I sold my 6990 and 6970 in december before the 7k series came out. It was the only way I would sell them quickly enough before the new series came out.

Does Best Buy even sell video cards? I didn't think they did, then again I havent been to a Best Buy in years.

Exactly, most people who buy high end parts, that is what they do, they buy high end parts. And it makes sense to sell your old hardware before its value is reduced to nothing.

Yes I know Best Buy does. One of my Girlfriends, good friend did not want to listen to my advice, and bought a video card at best buy.

It was a Nvidia 430 she paid for 169.99 for. Ripped off much?
 
Yeah, they still sell video cards and other components. I got a closeout sale on a RocketFish full tower computer case there, all aluminum and sourced from Lian Li, for $47 a couple of years ago. If you get lucky you can score a deal.

Sometimes I buy entry-level stuff there if I don't have time to wait for shipping. Price differences at the low end aren't so bad. Laptops can be a bargain too.

But the "help" is usually pathetic. Interpret that as you will in regard to who works where!:D

Most ppl don't give a shit about what geeks say they just scan for proof. The only thing consumers a learning is that kelper is full of lies from Nvidia. Add up the hits on threads. That is alot of hits. The only ppl interested in this are usually ppl deciding to buy a 7970 or 7950 and want to see about nvidias offer. They then read about the lie and deciet from nvidia that affects their choice. I really don't care to be honest. I just want to know why nvidia does not make an official statement about kepler. If they released specs then consumers will judge their decisions on them rather than the lies

Most people don't even know who Nvidia is...only the video card manufacturer. You don't even know what your arguing about anymore? Why would people search "Nvidia viral" to begin with?
