I'd buy it if it was an actual pylon that hovered.
You guys have to check my new favorite player, "TheLittleOne" He plays random and his game sense is freaking incredible. Very unique player. Apparently he's coming from Supreme Commander and kicked ass there. There are a few more VODs of him if you search on youtube or TL.net, but these two I'm linking are my favorite SC2 matchs since beta started.

Also, great Protoss micro with the Sentry in this video, actually better than what I've seen from Orb so far.

Lots of force field, lots of hallucinate. Very cool.
Just started playing tonight after having the beta for a week now. Need do to a lot of work on my macro. I just can't seem to pull myself away from fights when they break out. Any suggestions ("play moar games" excluded)?
Also, I've decided to play random from the start. Would you say that's a good or bad thing with a new player? I'm not new to RTS per se, just SC2 in particular (my SC1 knowledge really doesn't help a whole lot I find). I'd like to get to learn all the races, but not sure if the learning curve would be better playing a bunch of matches as one race, then switching once comfortable.
I just got the Beta key from a friend that works at Blizzard and WOW, this game is awesome. If there is a link some where in this topic that has some great strategies on this game I would appreciate it (I'm not going to search through 37 pages). I feel like my drones/SUVs/probes are mining WAY too slow. I need some strategies.

SIGH! I am currently in class working on a project, first day back after my last quarter. Today marks then end of a long and wonderful week of Starcraft 2! I'm fairly certain most of my playing time is highly diminished now. DAMN YOU LIFE!![]()

That has to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Almost like they were being controlled by a machine. That guy is not human.

Ok, somebody tell me if I am just lucky or what.
I applied for the beta last night and checked battle.net today just for the heck of it and SC2 was listed. I am downloading the installer now.
Will I need a key as well? Or is it included in the installer?
Thanks
You are officially lucky. You're good to go, the only thing you need a key for is to create the SC2 link in your BNet account. If its there then you're in. Awesome game, have fun!
