Starcraft 2 Beta

does it just show up as another add trial in the battle.net account homepage ?
 
I'm still waiting for my invite. While I'm waiting, I've been practicing against some AI's. Gotta say, I find it easiest with Terrans (against AI's at least) and hardest with Zerg. I just need more practice and get the builds down. I kinda like Roaches, but you really need to get the Burrow ability to make them good.

I'm not too keen on every race having a unit designed to harrass and flee (blink is too imba).

:( I am stilling wait too. Playing the AI is getting boring and predictable, although an updated version should be coming out soon...
 
So is there a thread where people are actually talking about the game? This just seems to be a "me too" thread.

Does the game automatically pop-in when you login to your bnet account under manage games? Also whats with the SCII Beta logo next to the beta profile settings link, does that just mean thats the only beta blizz is doing?

If you want to talk about the game you can try the battle.net forums. Unfortunately most of the people here haven't gotten in as of yet, since its has... been well only 3 weeks.... and today is first day they have invited a large majority of opt-in player vs. friends and family and blizzcon keys..... not a lot of people have the experience to talk about it properly.
 
True, but I thought more of the people claiming to have gotten in in this thread would be talking about it by now. I would welcome their information and insights, as not all of us hang out on the bnet forums.

They are not in here talking about it cause they are too busy playing it!!!!! Damn them....
 
My brother also got in -- through opt in. The kicker is he made the account less than a week ago when I told him to try and opt in.
 
Got in, played my first match and lost badly. Man i suck at this game. :mad:

So far theres really not much to say. Its so much like the original from what i have seen so far that if you liked the first you should be happy with this one.
 
how can you tell if you get in beta?

nevermind, I got the email, been chosen. If it makes any of you feel any better, I opted on a long time ago. Yesterday. They must be letting alot more people in now, maybe testing server strain or something.

Welcome to beta. I hope you enjoy your stay. If you play protoss, you will start to cry once you play against a Terran player.

Checked my e-mail and got in, yay. :) I was hoping for FF14 or D3 beta more, but this works.
 
Just curious, for anyone who opted in for the beta, who opted for the Windows client and who opted for the Mac client?

A buddy of mine got an email from them, and I have yet to get one. But then I remembered I opted for the Mac client.
 
windows, but I can choose which client to download. So far I'm 1-2, the game looks great.
