First off - Hard Forum Rocks

I am looking for a PSU that is very very quiet, silent would be preferred. Are there any fairly inexpensive PSUs that provide between 500-600 watts of power, look clean and sleek (not too important) and run silent?

Thanks!

I use a S12-600HT myself and love it. But my system isn't quiet due to my other fans still :/

the enermax 600w noisetaker is almost silent. the fans keeps running when the computer powers off and you can barely tell.

My seasonic tornado 350 and my buddies seasonic super silencer 350 both had problems with the 12v rail. When plugged into our video cards the molex connector would melt onto the videocards molex connector and eventually burnt out the connector on the vid card, making me have to RMA the card twice before figuering out what was the problem.

So I am no longer a seasonic fan.

What about a PCP&C "Silencer" series? Price seems reasonable. I might get one because my 510 SLI is noisy and I dont have SLI yet.

At least some recent models I have seen were Seasonic in disguise.

How recent? The Silencer's I picked up from directron a while ago sound like a turbine.

The Seasonic logo is on the main transformers of both units.

Check it I am a tard....pulled the invoice Turbo-cool's not Silencers

They were cheap and being clearenced so I wasn't going to complain about the noise anyway but still those ~44db numbers don't make me think real quiet especially when Seasonic claims 25db on the Super Silencer 400.

Yeah, I figure there's little advantage to buying a Seasonic from PC P&C aside from the warranty.
