there was some motherboard manufactor that included software to customize the boot screen too.

In win 98SE, you can alter your startup screen from your Theme. You have to rename a file to alter your startup screen.

Likewise, you shut down screen can be altered too.

What I really like is to find a software to create a MS Plus Theme. If anyone knows such software, let me know.

My LCD Setup;

lcd.jpg

The center wal LCD is using a custom flush wallmount. I had to file it down to fit into the back base where they normal stand secures in. The second LCD is using a standard pivot wall mount. I hope to have one more on the wall in the near future. As you can see I have the space set aside for it already.

I love your monitor, how do you like it? We have one at work and i have been considering getting one...
It's a really nice monitor. It has amazing quality in games, movies, and just browsing. It even comes with some presets for movies and text.

cool, ive been thinking about the 19" version. Also i notice that you have an IBM NetVista machine running, is that a OEM IBM, or did you just build the machine around the case? I recently came across one of these cases and am wondering if a standard mini-ATX mobo will fit in it?

I just bought the case and built inside of it.

And a mini-atx motherboard will fit, but it has to be small.

I used an ASRock K7S41GX motherboard, because it was cheap refurbished on newegg.

It just barely fits, and the dimensions are 9.6 x 7.8.

I also used a shuttle power supply, the one that came with the case had a fan that stuck out too far.

I just moved, so I'm on a folding table until my new desk gets built. I just got my 2007 yesterday, and it looks pretty good, but I do have the banding issue, and some backlight issues. I'm planning to RMA it shortly.

OKay, I have XP Plus too, but I don't have that red fish, and the yellow/blue, and that little fish on top of the yellow/blue. Unless some of the fishes in my tank ate those fish. How come the same screen saver has different fish?

I smell a biology / chem major. Looks like a photocopy of an activity series on the wall or, given the loction of the band, a table of SRP's w/ the band being hydrogen. Let me guess - its from the general chem book by Harcourt Publishing.

Man, that's bitchin'. What did you do to get the drives to say?

My newfound best hardware friend, the wellnut. Simply drill a hole, pop in of these cheap wellnuts, and screw. As the screw tightens, the rubber expands making a very secure fastener. Added bonus is the rubber acts as an insulator to vibration. Extra added bonus is no need to reach behind and hold a nut, you can do everyhting from the front.

I could have did without the angle brackets and used the threaded drive mounting points, but for aesthetic reasons I wanted the circuitry displayed ;)

That's very nice.
Thanks :)

btw, at least around here (and I live in the sticks) they carry wellnuts at the local hardware store and home depot...

a 1080p monitor! wow! that must have costed like $5,000+- ???

No, they're about 1,700. You can catch the older version, the LVM-37w1 which is 1080p as well for 1,200.

yeah, those are my SRPs, well one of them is general chem, Wiley publishing, by Brady and Senese. it's a pretty good book. I have another general book from Houghton Mifflin but it isn't very thorough.

and i enjoy lots of porn here, i just close the text books before hand :p

and i'm proud to have a messy desk amidst all the slick stations!

They desk is from Ikea. Jerker, do a search for a Jerker gallery. They are loved by most.

The shelves are from Crate and Barrel as I staed in a post above. Look up Leaning Shelves.
