If your set to span I would think so yeah. I don't span and just tried doing it and it wasn't having any of it. A pic over 2 monitors would look wierd on this setup as the res height of the 2005 and 1704 are different, so the image would be skewed, with 3 of the same monitors the only problem would be the bezels splitting the image.

I did span half life 2 over 2 19" tft's a while back and that looked awesome....just the crosshair was split thru the middle so wasn't really playable.

You're right, I wasn't really referring to this setup, I was just wondering for people who has 3 monitors, if XP allows span on 2 LCD, but regular display on the 3rd.

Because I thought XP only allows either total span on all monitor, or no span on all monitor, and nothing in between. I only have one monitor, so I have no way of knowing

it's one of the pics from oblivion....
SOON TO BE OUT IN STORES
can't wait...

I had a good feeling it was from oblivion :)

all those trailers that are being released every day this past week make it seem like a lot longer wait
damn them, heh

The pic is a bit skewed since I streched it to native LCD res...
Those videos are so short you only start to get impressed and it's done I hate that.

viewsonic VX2025WM. Im loving it. No dead pixels, minor blacklight bleeding only noticable on a completely black screen. Dont notice it when im watching movies, or in everyday use.

This is temp. BenQ FP767 (nix box), Samsung 204B and Dell 2405FPW (dualled on my windows box). The Samsung isn't mine; I'm borrowing it from a friend to try it out (as I'm considering buying one). I'd have to do some rearranging of my desk, but it'd be pretty sweet...

My computer is probably the worst, but definitely near the bottom of the stack.

Dell 8200 Series (almost stock, 4 years old)
80 gig HD
P4 2.4 ghz
512mb RD RAM
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Soundcard
CDRW, DVDROM
ATI 9700 Pro 128mb (upgrade)
Some crappy Dell speakers, keyboard
Microsoft Intellimouse
Sony Headphones (big, but not comfy, and they have a hiss too)

My pride and joy is my new Dell 20.1" widescreen LCD (2005fpw). I upgraded my video card from my old GeForce4 64mb pos because it didn't even have a DVI output.

I really want another gig of RD ram (so expensive) and a 9800 pro, and I think I'll be happy with it. Maybe a raptor HD too. I also plan to get a new keyboard/mouse, plus new Logitech speakers and a headset so that I can actually use TS! Now on with the pics... (check out that SWEET Sanyo tv).

Don't bother with the RDRAM, I bought 256MB for my 8250 last year for $80 and I thought that was a steal. It's getting harder and harder to find and for $400 you might as well buy a new computer. I have a 9800 pro that I added from my 9700np that was stock, and it made a reasonably nice improvement for newer games.

Hey wasn't there a dude here that had a single Dell 24 with two Dell 20's tilted 90 degrees on each side? I can't seem to find any pics of that anymore. Anyone remember the setup they had?

Yeah I remember that picture too.

Can I ask where you bought it? I'm waiting to see it in person, Fry's advertised it for $497.00, but they had none on display, comp-usa advertised it online, once again none in store. It's supposed to be one of the better 20" wide screens (8bit panel), I just need to glance it once, and I'm sold ... I hope

JCS64..Hows that Sony TV ..play PC games?
I'm considering that model or a Sharp LCG5c26u..
or The Maxent MX26x3..all at Costco..
any1 one else..have experience or suggestion on
the above 3 models listed..
this would be a secondary monitor for me
..for DVD xbox and PC games..Thanks

Im up in canada, got it at a store called CanadaComputers :p I got it for 510$CAD + tax, so 497 american seems kinda high. I love it, wouldnt go back to my dual 17" crt's if you paid me.

(click for bigger)

Temporary setup until we move in a few months.

GF's is a 2005FPW on an A64/3000+ with a Radeon 9800/128MB

Mine is a 2405FPW on a Dual G5 Mac and an A64/3500+ with a 7800GTX

I didn't really want the 2005, but I got it so cheap (free) that sending it back would be totally idiotic. Don't ask how, or I'll have to kill you.
