I got my desk from Wal-Mart...LOL..I needed a desk quickly when I moved back home, and, that's where I found it, and I loved it!

It's funny, that my CM Stacker actually matches it...I didn't even plan it that way, (I got the stacker after the desk..

The 2 computers stacked on one another are actually on a bookshelf that came with the desk, I just removed the middle shelf...

my new kds-60a2000 will soon have my other tower hooked up with a hdmi-DVI adapter as a HTPC, now its time to spruceup the pc's LCDs, if you need to sell a dell 2407 or 2007, pm me!

You dont live with parents or some adult supervision? I am 23 and while i live on my own.....its not the best idea sometimes. Chaos is just around the corner at all times.
 
it is a sony SXRD (not a plasma, an LCD) KDS-60a2000

and yes I bought bose speakers.. I know I know.. some people HATE them, to tell you the truth I don't like them much either but they were hand me downs so I use what I have.. they really aren't horrible, they plug into the wall and produce a quite amazing sound, especially with my klipsch 12 inch sub... anyways.. try not to give me too much crap about them.. I will upgrade as soon as I have $$.. maybe 10 years after the purchase of my LCD!

WOW!!!! 3 things......

1, sont doesn't make plasmas anymore. they sucked at it, and they left that market.....

2nd PLASMA?!?!? Its a Projection TV.How can you not tell? a Plamsa would have a shiney glare on the front from the glass and frankly it doesn't look like ANYTHING like a plasma.

3rd, he listed the model # before. Its the brand New line of SXRD's from sony(1080p). They are LCoS tv's (aka a projection tv) and they look super sweet, esp if you can get a nice high res source. His is a 60". MSRP is around $3300 i think. a 60": plasma is EASILY double that and would only be 720p.

you need to chill, it was a mistake that he made, this is a computer software/hardware/network forum not a DLP,LCD,Plasma forum, you could have told him nicely :rolleyes:

that is the demo of test drive unlimited, it is an alright game.. but I truely think PGR3 is better.. except there is the "open" mode where you can just drive around.. any other questions, I would be very happy to answer them!

I love open mode. Those graphics look great on that game. What makes you like it less that PGR3? Nice TV Btw.

The graphics of the cars is all around better, I think in PGR3 they devote more to the actual car graphics and in test drive they devote more memory to the "scenery" and open mode graphics

I'm looking to upgrade to a G15 but I'm having a hard time talking myself into it...

Finally got myself a LCD. Viewsonic 19" va1912wb Widescreen, just a place holder till i decide on what LCD I really want.

Desk is old school.. so is the room. lol.

BTW, Logitech G15 keyboard and Logitech MX510 :)

Is there anyone with a 20.1 widescreen and 24 widescreen LCD that can post a picture of them next together (not at an angle)?

i would wait for the G13 (G15 minus the screen) since the screen on the G15 is only usable on certain games and apps. as for me, i'll be keeping mine till she breaks :D

Actually I was seriously considering that!

Usually during the day they are used like:

- Monitor 1: IE/Firefox Preview Window
- Monitor 2: Visual Studio 2005
- Monitor 3: Adobe Photoshop
- Monitor 4: Remote Desktop

Have you considered rotating them to portrait mode? It would save horizontal space. I don't suggest putting more on top (of the other), it makes looking up tedious.
