DUUUUUUH. trek554, you wanna listen to something really funny, check out my story:

When I saw the 500W I thout It Is 1 Graphics Card B'Cuz: I thought when they transfered from AGP to SLI-E, I thought it Increased from 8X to 16X for 1 graphics card. Isn't It?? still confused on that one.

So you know what I have been doing since, I've been running my screen resolution at 1024x768 so I wouldn't "stress my Graphics Card." Althought the temp. on my CPU and Mobo was between 38-41, but I thought something must be wrong, and Ignored the reading.

And you know what's funnier, I stopped playing games for the same reason and ordered a PSU which is 700W in power, Big DUUUUUUUUUH.

Currently I'm speechless, I don't know what to say.

But just a last question, I had a 9800XT on AGP8X before I rebuilt my whole Computer, by how much is my Graphics better compared to that one?? Thats If It's more powerfull than before.

P.S. I'm writing at resolution of 1280x1024, everything seems so small.

Edit: If someone doesn't memorize every single statement he/she makes, doesn't mean he's drunk. Plus, I dont re-re-re-re-revise what I constantly say, I don't have to mention something for you to imply It, we're not people of lower IQ, you can conclude to what I mean out of my context In general :p
You are confusing pci-e with sli. there is no such thing as sli-e. a 7900gt will be way way faster than a 9800xt. I have no clue why you dont want to run higher resolutions because thats the whole point of having a high end card. Sorry if this sounds mean but it seems like you have more money than sense. You obvisiously havent done any research on computers. I suggest you read up on video cards and basically everything else pc related before making any more puchases. You will probably be more satisfied if you actually knew what you were buying. :D

A 7900GT is at least 3-4 times as fast as a 9800XT, if not more.

wowowow. i dont know where to begin.
1)STOP SAYING SLI-E unless you created your own interface, it doesnt exist.
2)700w is way over what you need, pointless, unless you have some more upgrades planned ahead.
3)The point of getting a good videocard is to max out your resolutions, and at the same time perform well.
4) there is no comparison between the 9800 and 7900, the 7900gt annhiliates it.
5)A card is SLi CAPABLE. Just because u have a 7900gt doesnt mean your running SLi, SLi is when u actually use that capability and bridge 2 cards.
6)read,read,read,read and post, you obviously need to learn more about a lot of things, and im not saying this in a bad way, just you need to do it.

Apex32, Now that you mention It, SLI-E sounds HILLLLLLLARIOUS.

trek554, the only reason I was working on low resolution Is that my PSU Is 400W, and I know, I was mixing Between PCI and SLI. When It said "min 500W for SLI, I thought It meant min 500W for PCI and I kept telling myself, why do they say 400 then 500 if the Interface of the graphics card is alway PCI??? Now I know, huuuge mistake.

And, for you're info, to upgrade my PC fromP4 2.8GHZ to AMD 4400+ and other stuff, I had to cut of 4 Months of my allowance to afford those, so yeah, I guess I am flilthy rich.

P.S. well, that was a huge waste of time from you people's side wasn't it :D

actually it wasnt a huge waste of time, considering it only took me like a minute to comment to you. and running diffrent reolsutions because of ur psu is just dumb. you dont know much period. start learning

also noone cares what your allowance is.

O K, why don't we end this right know, cuz some people have begun to talk smart just B'Cuz they know more about computers than others. This IS an LCD display forum, I don't have to learn Jack **** about computers, K!!!

Here are some pics of my new Gateway 19" Widescreen along with my new desk setup and theater room. Sorry for the "specs" all over some of the pics, must have been dusty in here today. The movie screen shots are from my theater screen (105" 16:9). The projector is a Sanyo Z3. Still working on finishing the cable access area behind the desk so the big hole in the wall will be covered eventually.

wow Rob. thats a lot of pics lol. nice home theatre setup u have there. looks like a lot of fun

damn rob thats a cool ass room.

I hate that cordless Logitech keyboard and mouse that comes with the older Dells. That was the worst pos I have used. My parents went through 4 sets of those Logocraps cause Dell kept on sending them. The mouse ate batteries like crazy and the mouse and keboard would just stop working for no reason sometimes. I thought it was just the Dell but I tried it on my Compaq and I would have to reboot every hour cause the keyboard or mouse would lose the signal.

Thanks for the compliments...

The Logitech cordless system has been vey good to me. I go through a mouse battery every couple months, and haven't changed the keyboard batteries in the two years I have had it. Respose time is great on the mouse.

Thanks....I am using a Pioneer VSX-1014TX THX Select Receiver (7.1 channels). The speakers are Polk Audio all around, CS400 center, RT600 Mains, and side surrounds, Polk 12" Power sub and smaller M1 for the rear surrounds. It is plenty loud in there :D .

It is better that a movie theater in many cases. You can control your own enviroment, and the picture and sound tend to be better than most larger theaters anyway. I love it.

Wow, bigdogn12, I sure hope that bed is sturdy. Wouldn't want all that nice hardware to get smashed to smithereens. Or stolen, for that matter, being a dorm and all...

Great setup, though. Dual 24"ers... good greif. ;)

Yeah, I haven't slept on my bed since I set that up. Scared of rolling off and landing on that rightmost monitor. Haha. Thanks :)

uhm, WHOA!?!?!?!? i thought they hadnt started shipping the XPS 700 yet?!?!?!?!??!? how'd you get one? and on a related note, i love the fact that dell advertises the xps 700 at the URL:

www.dell.com/FTW - HAHAHAHHAHA. love it. so ya, is it core 2? and did you JUST get it? and wow dual 2407, have fun!

Man, that room is pretty much verbatim what I want to setup when I buy a house.. hopefully in the next two years. Anyways.. really sweet setup! My THX select setup (Yamaha, Definitive and Paradigm) is practially sitting idle right now.. uugh! apartment life. hehe.. Harry Potter fan also I see? (on the CRT in the 1st pic, from the Prisoner of Azkaban I think).. I love those movies also. Anyways.. thanks for sharing those pics! :D

When you've got 48 diagonal inches of LCD goodness who has time to look at anything else? :p

Got the Dell 2407WFP the other week, was getting sick of the 20.1" BenQ. Still running the Sony Bravia 26" V-Series. Also got the Logitec Z-5500 last week.

I'm happy now :D
