A few weeks ago, I got a Seagate 750GB 7200.11 series drive. It went bad in a week and a day, which was very annoying. It would only be recognized as a 0GB drive by my computer, or any other computer that I would hook it up to. (Drives go bad sometimes. It just happens, and no matter how well you try for QC, bad ones get through. That's life.)
It took me a couple days to get the RMA, due to my own lazyness, and another couple to get it sent out.
I got the replacement in only 5 days. it took 3 days for them to get it and they sent it to me with 2 day shipping. In addition, they sent me a 1TB drive as a replacement! I got another 250GB in exchange for the hassle! I can say, Seagate rocks for that.
Anyone else have a story like this?
