• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Samsung 950 PRO [Official Thread]

You do realize that was from nearly 3 years ago right? ;)

I also realize the concept itself is more than 20 years old and yet still remains pretty much the same.
This "features" is already built into the OS, so there is nothing new to it that would really do a difference.
However not abiding to uncached flag in I/O request is generally a bad idea. (but it does make huge numbers in synthetic benchmarks with no real world impact)

But don't let me discourage you. I would be happy to see benchmark that provide real benefits from rapid mode and not just faked number in synthetic benchmarks by ignoring uncached read/writes. (apple to apples benchmarks)
