RX-9 Gaming Case

100 percent plastic on outside not my kinda case... Maybe front plastic as sides are metal... But no not this...
 
I like it. It has a very european design to it. It actually has some design put into the outside of the case rather than all the same old boxes. I bet if it was made out of carbon fiber, cost $250 and had a name brand on it more people here would "love" it though.
 
Shape it how you want, I'll never love a plastic case.

Now make it out of Aluminum, and it has a lot of potential from the get go.

Carbon-fiber? That sounds like a bit of a stretch, but it sure as hell beats plastic.
 
i think its sort of nasty, it looks like a alienware fake. from the alien head cases... thats definately not my type of case

I don't mean to flame you or start a fight or anything, but since when did "European styling == (Hehe, PHP coder :p) good"?
I think it's ugly, and probably feels cheap. I can't stand plastic on cases. If it formed aluminum, I would consider it.
 
It looks like an attempt to make an Aliens tribute.

While drunk AND tripping on a number of hallucinogens.

I wouldn't take that case if it was free.

it sux friggin ass man...and that stupid door....scratched the case within 5 minutes of the customer bringing it in.

Other than that, the case in the original post is kinda kewl looking, thats about it

I dunno, I kinda like the looks of it but I wouldn't really pick it up though.
And yeah, it sure looks like a rip-off of the Vento.

funny thing is. that the Asus case is UGLY, this 1 just took it to a new level of fugly lol.
 
I don't really care one way or the other on the appearance, but why the hell does it matter what it's made out of? Of all the assinine comments, you gonna start ragging on people because their monitors don't have aluminum casing too? I guess not being plastic would make it heavier (ie feel higher 'quality' right?). I really do want my case to feel high quality though, I mean it goes through a lot of stress sitting there immobile on my desk, and I do pick it up all the time just to feel the quality of it. I mean, if it were plastic it'd surely fall apart whenever I opened the side up or put it in it's box to take it somewhere. Yeah, right.

IMO, the angular windows mixed with the smooth shape is too much of a contradiction, but I've seen a LOT uglier.

Uhhhh.... yeah. Us case modders like aluminum cause it's heavier than plastic. That's exactly it. We love heavy stuff. Man, that aluminum is the shit.

Don't know what kind of experience you have case modding, but if you don't care if a case is made out of plastic, that's a new one on me.

Ooooh... gonna go get me a steel case today. I heard it weighed 10x as much as Plastic!!!
 
All I know if my freaking P180 weighs 70 lbs. when its loaded up. That's way too much for a computer case that doesn't make me coffee when I wake up in the morning.

Not everyone likes to be normal and follow the flock and buy a P180 etc...

i have nothing against the case its neat and smooth.. have sen alot worse...

some cases look like they have been covered in superglue and thrown into halfords (Automotive Accries Stre) :p

just my 2 pennys...

and the people that are going on about plastic are narrow minded..

lets change your toothbrush to aluminium and see how the feels rubbing against your teeth instead of normal plastic :p (Random Moment :s)
