Ruby Reloaded: AMD shows tech demo based on the CryEngine 3 for GDC 2013

They showed it on a screen far away from the public, so image quality will be crappy no matter the version we find.

And what the heck happened to Ruby? i do not like that big forehead look, heck Rihanna's big forehead look at the Grammys reminded me of Mars Attack in a bad way, and Ruby gives me the same vibe :p

I say if it isn't broken, don't fix it. Now she looks like she has a dolphin forehead. Perhaps she has a receding hairline? To me with the red hair and big forhead I cant help being reminded of Rocky Dennis. :mad:

Couldn't they have used a reasonable sized screen or a projector or something? It looked like it was shown in a bar. Also had an actually interesting video :D
 
this marginally is better than that rediculous claymation demo leo they put out last, bleh~

But honestly, compared to the face/head demo released through nvidia channels, this is a letdown.
 
I thought leo was pretty neat actually.

It was supposed to showcase specular lighting (a shader based form of ambient occlution), which it does quite well.

did you watch the "educational" mode?

Yeah, I ran it several times having just popped in my 7970s back then. I just wanted MORE TITS. . .is there any other purpose to lifelike character models?
