If you don't already have that evga 460 I'd recommend a gigabyte version of that card. it's much quieter. there's also some other video cards out there that outperform it for just a little more.

Lets not forget I'm going to buy two and get two copies of Photoshop which I'll turn around and sell so in the end, these cards will probably only cost me around $80-$100ea

Honestly, I'd get ATI HD5870s in CF. Their power demands (and hence noise and heat) are much lower for similar performance, and you can find them for ~$130 each if you're patient.

While the HD5870 is an older card I would agree that it is a great one, sometimes even topping the GTX 295! Problem is these units still go for $300+ on ebay so if I'm looking to lock in a deal at $130 not only am I going to have to be extremely patient, but very lucky as well. Also, if I find that $130 deal, its more than likely going to be used, and to be honest that doesn't jive to well with me. If you know a place where I can get two new units for $130, please let me know.
I got two HD5850s for $120 after rebate about 5 months ago, it was a newegg sale. You'll definitely have to be patient to see it come up, although last I checked (couple months ago) HD5850s were going for $170 pretty standard. 5870 might be more expensive, but if so the premium probably isn't worth it. It looks like the 58X0's are running expensive now since they are EOL, but the new 68XX series are running pretty cheap. I hear their power requirements are lower too.

The HD58xx cards are going for a lot due to a bitmining craze. Otherwise, HD58xx used prices were very low only a few months ago. Now due to artificial demand, the prices have been jacked waaaaay up.

Yeah your not going to find any HD58xx series cards for normal retail value unless you just happen to catch a 5830 or 5850 in stock at Newegg for a few minutes before it sells out because of their current demand for mining as well as the fact they are no longer in production outside of a few stock left from Sapphire. And really if your building a new rig there's no reason to be investing in last gen hardware for the video card when your buying a 2600k. Get a GTX 560 ti or reference 6950 that you can unlock instead.

USB 3.0 came today. Install was easy, took 10 minutes tops, and most of that was re-routing cables. Now if I only had a USB 3.0 device...
Would be nice if Silverstone would hurry up and update the FT02 line with USB 3.0 since I was considering buying another FT02. I really don't understand why its so difficult for manufacturers to stay up to date with their products improving them as new things become available. Especially when its something as simple as including USB 3.0 ports instead of USB 2.0.

I've yet to see a Lian Li that offers better cooling than the FT02.
I'm looking forward to buy this case. But first I need to know some details I'm not sure about. I currently have an eATX motherboard (ASUS Rampage II extreme) and a pair of ATI 5870 in Xfire. Could they fit in this case connected to the farthest PCI-e connector of each other? Is there any problem with this motherboard and the case holes for cable management?

Yes your parts can fit, the cable connection depends on your PSU, but I haven't seen any issues with that.
I bought my wire saddles at Lowes, but FrozenCPU has them too if you want a color other than white: http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g2/c34/s806/list/p1/Cables-Wire_Management-Wire_Saddles-Page1.html.
I used the screws the came with the case...or motherboard...I forget which, but I had some left over.
I've owned 3 Lian-Li cases and I've had silencing or cooling problems with all of them. They look super sharp...the best Lian-Li cases look better then the FT02 I think (aluminum drive bezels, what?), but, for me, the FT02 does a much better job of balancing looks and cooling.

By comparing the pictures from the Q&A on Silverstones website with pictures of the AC Twin Turbo Pro, it looks pretty much the same as the one labeled "Good orientation" in my opinion, but I haven't tried it, so I can't be sure.

that's exactly what I was thinking, but what they showed in the picture is that when oriented vertically the lower pipes are too low, a point they don't make clear in the FAQ, and one that worries me because most stock GPU coolers are similarly oriented.
Yes, it looks like 2 of the heat pipes will be above the GPU and two below...just like the good orientation of the CPU heat sink.
I wonder how cooling in this orientation compares to a traditional configuration where the card and heatsink are horizontal, but the heat pipes end up below the GPU?
Also, Kisakuku runs a Thermalright Shaman which is clearly in the "bad" orientation and still has good cooling results.
I also have a shaman with a 570 in the bad orientation and it works great. it might not be the "best" orientation, but it's way way better than stock.

Maybe but my Lian Li has two 120mm fans and two 140 mm fans and from what I can tell it stays very cool (low 30's Celsius.) What makes the FT02 so good? The fans are on the BOTTOM like I just said which does not sound that effective to me. My fans are on top, back, front. I have never had any of my Lian Li cases run hot. I have no problem with Silverstone cases but this new one doesn't do much with me. I think it's ugly and that it's fan layout is less than optimal, but not bad.

How could it be less than optimal? It's a known fact that heat rises and it has been stated many times in this thread as well. Video cards have been exhausting their hot air out the rear of the expansion card slot for a few generations now....it only makes sense to, instead of fighting thermal dynamics, to just go with it and rotate the board so everything pushes heat in the same direction it wants to go.
Now if your talking less than optimal for water cooling, then I can see what you mean for sure but come on....you gotta be kidding me when it comes to air cooled.
I also don't mean to say its the end all be all best design just that it IS effective at cooling without being obnoxiously loud.

No, I'd still rather have all three fans on the top of the case, I still disagree and I don't really care if you think I'm trolling. Still a nice case though, I'm not saying it's not, I'm just disagreeing that fans on the bottom of the case are necessarily better than on top of the case.

I dont have an FT02, but I do have the twin turbo pro on a 6870 inside a RV03. Going from the reference cooler that exhausted out the back, to the twin turbo pro dropped my temps 25-28ish degree's.

The idea of FT02 is to cool efficiently while minimizing the amount of noise experienced by the user, which is why I believe Silverstone puts that useless foam on the side panels. The way to do this is minimise direct sound paths towards the user. This is why many "quiet computing" cases like the Fractal R3, Antec P183, NZXT H2, and Lian Li B10 have the ever-hated door with vented intakes.
By rotating the motherboard around, you completely eliminate the need of a door. By having the intakes at the bottom, you are essentially making the sound path to the user indirect. This also means you have more room to work with, which means you can put larger fans that can spin slower while pushing the same amount of air as faster fans.
Everyone seems to agree that it by far has the best airflow/noise ratio of any computer case in the market right now. I don't believe the stack cooling effect is all that important in the grand scheme of things but having its airflow travel straight in and straight out seems to be especially effective at aircooling hot parts.

Anyone used this case with a 6990 or other video card that blows air out both ends? I am concerned that the intake air will hit the video card internal exhaust and overheat the video card...
Highly doubt it would overheat the card (GPUs can run hella hot) but it may cause it to run a few degrees warmer than if it was in a different kind of case or a reference card design in this case.
But I have seen shots of people with 6990s in this case so im sure someone with experiance can speak out about this.
Haven't tried the Zalman, but I couldn't fit a single GTX 580 with the Spitfire in this case. Granted, I do have a tower CPU cooler (SA). I would double check all the dimensions before dropping the coin on this setup.

I can't say for sure, as i'm not at home but I don't think there is any GPU that is too long for the FT02. I currently have 5830's in mine and there is a huuuge gap between the back of the card and the lower fans.
