I 'splain and show my need here:

Running a cable up into an attic from first floor server room. I want to run the cable along the i-beam and mount the Open-Mesh WAP to a cinder wall.

Looking for recommendations to websites/vendors that cater to network cabling equipment, mountings, etcetera; and for opinions and advice on running and mounting the cable. I'll be using premanufactured shielded CAT6a (why bother crimping a cable myself).

For the cables on the beam.... J-Hooks (either magnetic or clamp on)

Monoprice is also good for cabling needs.

There appears to be two mounting tabs on the back of that AP. Easiest would be the double sided tape you mentioned. I would mount the AP to the bottom of the beam before I would mount to the cinder wall.

What are you trying to cover with the AP? Why do you want do put the AP antenna side against the cinder wall?

The Open-Mesh WAP is for providing internet to the next door business. It's working sufficiently.
