I somehow managed to miss this game when it was released almost 2 years ago.

So I got it for real cheap and it's actually pretty good.

It looks a little dated but other than that it seems pretty fun so far.

It performs surprisingly bad on an 8800GT which didn't exist when it was released.

I'm averaging about 30 fps.

It's playable but I expected better for such an old game.

Oh well.

It is probably in the top 10 worst console to PC ports there has ever been. Don't worry about it running bad, thats just the way it is.

That is what kept me from buying it. But I still wanna play it bad. I might drop some cash on SWAT 4 to feed the hunger for a tactical shooter.

Hrmm... I don't remember having any issues performance wise on my 8800GTS. Ran really fast.

It is the UT3 engine... Should be no sweat for a 8800GT. Sooo I would have to think your doing something wrong. Update drivers, make sure nothing is running in the background, etc.

Was a fun game, sorta, except it's got the same lame shitty enemy spawn in waves system that ruined COD4. Or I guess it's the other way, since it came out first.

I thought it was an awesome game, I usualy hate this sort of console crap but this was really well executed. I actually think it ran quite well considering what was being displayed, there was a lot of high quality meshes in the game and VERY large maps, not to mention there was a lot of full screen effects like HDR, Bloom and Motion blur, any other game with all those things in it runs equally as bad.

My friend and I played through the storyline co-op it was fun.

I keep seeing people claming this is the worst port, and most terrible game, why? Anyone got a reason other than "it sux". I don't by any means think it was an all time great, but it was good and I had alot of fun in coop, yeah it's a departure from what R6 used to be too, but still it ran fine on my laptop even.

I loved the game. Great gameplay, great graphics, ran real nice on my system.

The game is only a year old. It's a great game, but I got it for the 360. I hear the PC experience isn't what it should be. I can't wait for the second one!

I played it on the 360, lots of fun on there.

Had a lot of fun in the SP and online was decent...

Problem was moving in the game it felt like you had a 10 ton brick in your pants with how slow you can move  Seriously needed a run button.

I loved the game, but the performance sucked. Play through it, it has a good story line.

i loved this game as well, it was first real good experince with a Rainbow game.

Yep it was a very fun game to play. It struggles alot on my 8600, but I manage to squeeze out some playable fps by turning down some quality, without HDR and those extra stuff.

I'd say it's a pretty good game. I don't think the performance is justified by its quality, but I guess can't complain much knowing its another multi platform game. But I still enjoy the gameplay.

Best thing being able to take cover behind the wall and lean out to shoot, the way it should be instead of standing looking at the wall and lean out to shoot like all other FPS :D

I would hardly classify R6:V as a "tactical shooter" unless the PC version is substantially different than the 360 version. It was a good game but it definitely was not some extremely realistic shooter that required you to do a ton of planning.

It was a good game, not great.
To be honest, I liked the parts in Mexico the best, the Vegas part was uninspiring. Except for shooting up glass and slot machines.

If you liked this game give Ghost Recon 2 a go. It's prety good and NOT at all like the console equivalent.
