I just basically have 2 questions regarding PSU.
First is that my fiancee's computer has an Rosewill PSU and if I tried to overclock the AMD x2 2300mhz cpu it just locks and crashes. I never really trusted Rosewill and I'm wondering what would be a good recommendation for a replacement for a ease of mine. I thought about the Seasonic low end PSU that is 300 watts or the 400 watt Corsair. I just basically want something reliable.
2nd is I'm building a new computer for my sister for her h.s graduation gift next year and chances are it will be AMD Athlon II 250, with one HDD and a low end video card an HD 4830. It will be no frills system since all she does is use the internet and use her ipod for music. Has anyone think the Antec Basiq 500 watt decent enough to use?
I've been using corsair psu's in all my other high end builds but I'm trying to see what other good brands out there that are just as great as the corsair but cheaper.
