Responding to above poster who claimed that only podunk nowhere places had stock. My point, I live in a decent size area that had stock.

My point, I live in a severely populated city that has none. The fact that they are selling on ebay is proof that demand currently outweighs supply. Obviously they just shipped out the same number of consoles per locale rather than check the market demographic on video games sales in a given area.
so after ive extensively dissected the ebay market ps4 trends - the profits are f'in pitiful. members are selling their ps4's for 570-650.
now incorporate 13% fee between ebay and paypal (ebay - 10% & paypal 3%) your getting wacked with a 75-85 dollar fee.
so lets do the math. we'll take the highest offer.
$650 x .13 = $85 in fees
$650 - 85 = $565
now as a seller the cost to me was 400 PLUS TAX (im connecticut, my tax rate is .0635)
400 + tax = $425..... Thus 565 - 425 = $140 profit *ADD SHIPPING OOPS* lets say 20$ for shipping and tracking etc
profit $120.
is it worth the line wait, generally speaking, gas, time, and all the effort to ship it out ...eh i dont think so.
i sold it locally for $500. netting me $80 bucks..im getting drunk tonight guys later lol
I must have missed something but $120 to pick up a console and drive it to the UPS store is pretty freaking sweet...
