SarverSystems: You planning on putting a "seamless window" type thing in those spaces, or is something else going in there that I missed. It's too bad about the support posts being there.

SarverSystems said:I have 3 or 4 different kinds of mesh here. I'll just have to see what looks the best.
I was unsure of the handle at first, but I loaded the case and picked it up. The handle comes with a reinforcing bracket that mounts on the underside of the lid. It makes it A LOT more rigid. In fact, it barely bends at all. No more than if the case were still 1 piece I'd say.

In person you can see some problem areas that need worked on.

I am running a 120 mm alu fan at the back at 2% with speedfan. When I play games it goes to maximum 10%. It is super-silent at 2%. Then I am running an external M-ATX PSU that can not be heard. The loudest part of my system is the Baracuda drive.
It is not exactly the most modern case/mobo but its a classic! Mine will still go strong at least until 2007 I think![]()

unhappy_mage said:Do you have a plan to keep the blue paint from getting scratched? It looks sweet now, but I'd worry about the paint scratching and the mesh getting bent out of shape over time.
aznpxdd said:I love your mod so far, I've got a question though, how are you going to secure the mesh?

uzor said:Well, you could always rough up a few spots on the interior where you won't see it from the outside and "spot-weld" it with some JB weld going through the mesh onto the case as I've seen some others here do. Considering how this is going so far and the fact that this is for a client, not something personal, you might want to try for a more elegant solution, though. Good luck in any event, and, as others have said, this is looking really nice.
