Post Your Workstations 2023

Just helped a buddy finish his upgrade. He came from a z170 6700k 1080 Strix to the x670 Gene, 7600x and Tuf 4090. Good fitment in the Lian Li o11 mini for those interested. Monitor is the Acer Predator 32 in 4K.

Nice!! I'd never sleep if I kept a computer in my bedroom. I need to stick with my iPad.

I used to have a PC in my bedroom when I was a kid, but when my fiance and I moved in together, this became a problem.

I love having a dedicated room for an office in my house. I don't think I could ever go back.

Switched up to the 680X, paid too much money for LEDs, got addicted to Simulation flying and SIM racing, and spent too much money.

Here is my main rig, followed by an X99, Xeon, and 64GB 2666MHz RAM.

Yes, the below photo is showing my main display which is 43" 144hz, 4k

Ever since moving to this chair, which is from Amazon, and for a real car, I have had ZERO backpain.

Here is the soon to be server, once the PSU comes in:

I got gifted the x99, xeon, and 64gb ram from a client. I see this board listed on ebay, from China for over $500. I know it is a solid board packed full of copper, but REALLY?!

You can tell by the setups, who is married or not.
I am married, but the key to marriage I think is each person, different bank account, and then ONE joint account.

I have two kids too, but they love this stuff too.... I do it for the kids! LOL

2023 is for changing things up!

I got a sit to stand desk from the local Simply Good (Amazon Returns store, and Target Overstock) so, this is now to the point where I am always looking over from my work iMac to see this when I'm at work in my office.

Both PCs are connected to KVM switch using one mouse, kb and speakers.

Both are also connected to two (2) 4k monitors and one 1440p monitor.

Edit: added pics of setup.

Keyboard is a Glorious GMMK Pro but also have QK65, KBD Lite 65 and Tiger 80.

There's a PS5 hiding behind the monitor on the right.

Also have an ancient logitech G13 cause I like the screen showing stats but will likely replace with a screen from ali express at some point.

Just consolidated monitors, and removed the 5 k 27K from the mix. I moved recently, and have a little less space. The M1 iMac is hooked to the Aorus 43" 4k 144hz monitor via USB-C and also to my gaming rig through DP.

I use the remote when I need to work on the Mac side, and vice versa. Also got Moza wheel and pedals and dove off into another money pit.

jazFromHouston is most of my social media. I made this account here on H, a LONG time ago and wanted to be anonymous in the 00's. LOL.

This picture makes me feel like my contact lenses have dried out :p

I got a Fanatec CSL 8nm bundle with a load cell pedal. I also bought a Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 to slide in and out for driving. Money pit lol up.. I'm already looking into bass shakers and synced lighting for Simhub...

My current computer...stack? Lack rack stack? Whatever you want to call it, it's all using a classic (higher end one iirc as well) Power Mac G5 as a stand to raise the whole thing up to a good height. Main PC on top (obv), pfsense box next down, then file/Plex server using a repurposed Nurse Call system chassis I got from work years ago. It's not a great chassis but decent to good 4u server cases aren't exactly cheap so I made this one work. Finally at the bottom is an APC UPS for the stuff in the "rack" and the UPS hidden behind my main PC up top is just for my main PC.

Organaized my desk "pretty good" compared to the disaster I generally am with this kinda stuff. got my new DAC (SMSL SU-1) and new Phillips L2 headphones and I just built this GMK67 keyboard (outemu silent Lemon V2 and WOB Pbt Keycaps.) I am fairly well pleased at the moment.
Yes I know there still is some cable mess on the floor but, it is better than before and I have A LOT of audio gear in here... making cable management a bit of a nightmare.

The Yamaha Speakers are NS-344 they were made in Japan circa 1979. These speakers are sealed 10" 3-ways.. w/ mid and high level adjustment on the front. I have had these for some years now and I like them very much they sound quite good indeed w/ my Sony TA-N77ES powering them.
