I noticed that but i need that wood or stone or whatever it is :O

That's 40mm thick particle board/chipboard whatever you call it. It's just been overlayed with hard laminate which has that kind of surface. We do sell these with many other surfaces as well. That is meant to be used in kitchen. Bolted it to the wall. Cost me 0 euros, would cost around 70 euros for a normal customer.

Could be someones 2013 workstation, Ikea New Fredrik Series Desk!?...Sorry I took the pic & kept on moving thinking I had the name of this new desk.

I just redid my setup this past weekend, replacing an el cheapo Ikea table that was getting a little too splintery with a Galant equivalent. I've got this in a corner of my bedroom because my apartment is somewhat small and I don't really have a better space for it. I'd like to add a matching bookshelf, and will probably do so soon.

I'll join in, my office:

Ignore the mess on the left, its two big racks I need to organize stuff and cleanup.

r.e. display cables, keeps them off the desk, reduces cable clutter, they are bundled and allow me to move them anywhere i need to for connection, the whole idea is simply to clear up cable clutter, and the wall was being unused :p

Its a FREDDE, Possible new setup for my son, Its not a bad desk compare to other expensive ones, this one seems a bit on the compact for me I have a 46' LED :D thats a major problem for me! I stay with my Jerker!

What are those lights ontop of your speakers? Do they change color to the color on your monitors?
Yeah, they are amBX lights by Philips. They do change colors to the monitor. Some games are programmed to use them as enhancements like HAWX which makes them flash red when someone locks onto you, etc. They never really caught on so finding games that make good use of them is rare. Otherwise, they just turn the color of the monitors. You get used to them after a while, but really notice when they are turned off. They were discontinued a while ago, but came back out branded as amBX Cyborg Lights.

I'm interested on these but I don't know how it works, does the program just detects the color that the monitor displays or does the app/game needs to support the hardware.

I think it's either the Malm occasional table or the Lack sofa table. Both Ikea.
Also looks to be painted if it's infact an Ikea table.

Actually it is self made. Ikea products are nothing compared to this (quality or rigidity). Even though the table is over 2.5 meters long, I can sit in the middle of it and it doesn't bend at all!

There is a little support on the bottom of the table, and it doesn't need anything else. I designed the support in a way, that it forces the table to stay straight.

Good job on the desk. I thought it was from Ikea, seeing the other Ikea items in the office.

I was talking about the bookends and I thought the shelf was Ikea.
Did you make that too? If so, good job

What's the measurements on the desk?

Oh yeah the bookends :D Bookends are from Ikea, like you said. Bookshelf is self made :)

Desk measurements: 2510mm width, 620mm depth and 730mm height.

Very cool. It definitely has the malm/lack style going but in a much classier color and desirable size. I was going to ask you to make me one until I noticed the European outlets, haha.
