What kind of desk is this? It looks like a cross between a Jerker and a workbench.

Yeah, pretty much. It's an Ergotron LO3000 series workbench. I had a hell of a time finding that out, since Ergotron sold off their furniture line a while back to a company called Morrell. Somebody was nice enough on reddit to help me figure that one out. I picked it up for free from an old Roxio building, new tenant just wanted everything out of there.

Good God, man! Resize your pics!

Nice system, but this is post your workstation, not your rig. Like what's your desk/chair setup, monitor array, etc. :)

Not a case badge fan and not sure if this is the right section as this is specifically a workstation thread.

Damn them nice cables though. This is real cable management thread material!

You know when the poster is from Texas or the surrounding states - plenty of Dr Pepper! Dr Pepper kicks Mr Pibs booty everytime. Nice pic Stat Now whats with the desk having the shelves build around it? lol

What are you using to connect the Avaya phone? Skype or do you connect to a Avaya communication server?

HOw is your Avaya phone setup? Do you use Skype or are you connecting to a Avaya Communication Server?

Actually, thats just where it is bottled. It is bottled by Dr Pepper, Coke, Pepsi, United Bottling Company and others. No matter where it is bottled, its a Dr Pepper/Seven Up Inc. product.

my desk as it is here at the beginning of the new year

hi, the black metal rack on your photo, where do you buy it? and is the height of the vertical bar adjustable? Also, can you post a photo of the bottom of the rack, and is the rack base hollow or solid? IF it's solid, what material is it?

As the tower I own today is not going to be the tower I own next year, it could be taller

Finally got to Ikea!

More work to do.... Cabling cleanup and moving the HTPC over to the rack and connect it to my receiver.

Here is my current workstation and theater setup. Please excuse the bad cable management. I'm still working on it.

I think this is one of the most appealing setups I've seen.

Did you make the framed photos/art on the wall?

What sort of work do you use this setup for?

Awesome setup! What else will be in the rack?
Integra 20.3 receiver
16 port GB switch
Sony BD player
IR switchbox
TW cable box
Possibly a Roku coming soon

All my living room equipment is in the basement rack so it looks clean upstairs. I have a 55in LED over the fireplace and putting the hardware in that room would not have looked good due to it's layout.

How did you connect the TV to the equipment in the basement? Did you just run long cables?

The two frames are numbered prints from my favorite photographer Trey Ratcliff @ www.stuckincustoms.com .

The TV high in the corner is connected to an Apple TV I'm playing with for work.

The left two monitors are for gaming. The right are for my laptop docking station when I work from home.

The box on the desk over to the right is my HTPC I built with Win8 & PLEX - soon to be moved into the rack.

The right two monitors are for the PC on the floor behind my chair (torrents, etc) and the Ubuntu build on the far right - soon to be Freenas. I like playing around with Linux when I have the time. I want to flush-mount the PC on the floor underneath the desk (not vertical) but I haven't found a good solution for that.

Never have I seen a stack of Kenwood hardware so high.. What is everything?

From top to bottom.
KRF-X9060D - 6.1 Receiver
DVF-R4050 - DVD changer
DP-R5070 - CD Changer
GE-7030 - Equalizer
KM-X1- 6 Channel Power Amp
Basic M2A- 2 Channel Power Amp

I do use them all. Still waiting on my PS3
