I feel like most of you cleaned your office before you posted your photos. I on the other hand think the messiness better reflects my environment. I do like it clean, but that takes time.

But man looking through this thread makes me feel like I'm living in the stone ages. I need to get on this eyefinity thing...

No need to make excuses for your mess. I'm pretty sure that no one will judge your character based on the cleanliness of your ;workstation'.;)

And yes, I do believe some of the setups here are staged. Wait till I post my pics soon. It'll be spotless.:D:D

I would've added a third monitor, but the two I have already are two different sizes, so it's already completely off.

The yellow wires coming from the GPUs still need to be sleeved. I ran out of sleeving and more is in the mail to me :]

This is my workstation. Waiting on Humanscale to send me longer arms so I can have all 8 monitors installed. I should have them next week hopefully!



Core I7 920 D0 @ 4203mhz cooled by Scythe Mugen 2
2x Radeon HD 5870 2gb running stock
12gb G Skill 9-9-9-24 @ 1600mhz
Bloodrage GTI
80gb Intel SSD2-Best upgrade evar!

Here are some in-game shots.


I would get more, but I gotta get some work done, and it's annoying switching from eyefinity 6 back to 6 extended desktops. I'd like to figure out why I can't load Catalyst saved profiles that I created to switch between extended and eyefinity.

For those who are curious, this is what I meant by "many projects"

Desktop - HTPC being upgraded to a gaming PC semi-barebones before I sell it.
Lower Right - i7 setup awaiting CPU. Lots of Gentle Typhoons :p
Laptop - Data project
Floor - what happens when I have 3x the normal amount of computers at my deks :eek:
Out of pic - 4 socket Quad Opty setup :p

Not sure I could get past the bezel being right in the middle of the screen, but still damn impressive....

I manage...

For some games it would be annoying, if I had time to play games. The top 3rd of your character is on the top monitor in WoW, which is annoying, but I don't play wow anyway. My account is only active to get myself a FigurePrint made for Christmas.

It wasn't annoying at all in Dirt 2, especially in the cockpit camera mode.
