i got some blue LED light clusters from IKEA to illuminate under the desk too, install coming soon.

i guess no one uses PMs...

the keyboard is a sunbeam solar... the illuminated keys are not as nice as a g15 or eclipse but i <3 the piano black finish.

the monitor is a 19" Sony SDM-HS94P which I got in 2004, 12ms response with 1280 x 1024. I don t think Sony still makes them.

The frame around the panel is a nice shiny black also. I m giving both to my girlfriend because they match the EZ482 I built for her with some spare parts...

the wrist wrests were a gift, i think they came from staples. they re gel filled and work pretty well, very comfy !

wtf no wires gordy_hand ? lol that's crazy nice setup man!

Thanks.

They are all hidden, behind the wooden panel underneath the desk. I've always had clean desk setups with a mess of cables underneath and it drove me mad.

So when I built this desk and put in the panel so that I could hide all the cables behind it all neatly zip tied. It works well, but makes moving stuff slightly harder.

Nice one gordy :D

Thanks :)

I like the desk Gordy...:)

Cheers as I said above I made it myself to fit in the alcove, it's also about twice as big as my previous desks :D

Its the wired version, so I can't help I'm afraid. I'm tempted by the bluetooth one but I'm not sure it works on OS X so I can't justify buying one for it not to work.

I wouldn't use a plasma tv for computers or gaming.

huh?

he isn't either... its a rear projection CRT.. not a plasma..
but I don't knock plasmas too bad.. the newer plasmas have alleviated most burn in problems

I like plasmas but I was sick of the rear projection that I couldnt play computers games on... so... I call a new tv :p

Im gonna get a wall mount for it later.

lol nice, i have the same speakers, cheap but they do the job.

Yeah, it is the Jerker. Though the name doesn't differ from the typica/popular "Jerker" with the shelves and stuff. I tried to get the drawer unit for it and couldnt find it anymore... So I got that one you see on the left. Doesn't match exactly but i like it. Anyone wanna sell me theirs? Got that desk for $50 on sale and it works really well for hiding all the wires. As far as the keyboard, that's the IBM Model M and I love a clicky keyboard. It's more of an 80's keyboard... Google "Model M" -- I'm not the only one who still uses one!

I'm guessing you have hooked up the X360 to the monitor using the VGA adaptor? I am thinking of doing that and getting rid of my TV (as the only use for it is Xbox360 and its a shit tv). So how is the quality of it? Does it pump out 720p?

Cheers

@ heads_up, when you connect the 360 to a PC monitor via VGA cable, you cant get 720p or 1080p/i.. it works in resolution format like 1280x1024 or 1920x1080. i'm not sure if the spring update fixed the ghosting problem many VGA users had, but i'm still sure the quality is a load better than standard AV connection. :)
