Crappy graphics, mouse lag, small maps, terrible gameplay

Here is mine I just uploaded @ 5760x1080 with 2 GTX 480 SC +'s on an i7 920 @ 4.0ghz. Full system specs in sig and on youtube. It doesnt play that well, I mean, for me at least. Im sure the full release at dx11 will destroy my setup lol. Im getting 25-40fps during gameplay at the HARDCORE setting @ 5760x1080.

MAKE SURE TO WATCH IN 720p or 1080p

Enjoy!

I couldn't even get over 30 fps on Gamer settings with my i7 920 @3.4ghz and overclocked gtx 275. I find it hard to believe that this demo runs worse than the single player that nvidia supposedly benchmarked. according to nvidia's benchmarks a gtx 260 is capable of nearly 60fps at 1920x1200 gamer settings yet in multi i can't get 30fps witha 275. oh well i already cancelled my preorder anyways.

i just tried the demo and im getting 100+fps constant.

i dont know why you people are getting bad performance, before i downloaded the game i thought it was just another bad port.

Its dx9 only. So this isn't even full graphics yet.

oh wow.

big difference between gamer and hardcore settings

went from 100+fps(gamer) down to 40's-50's(hardcore)

not a big difference in graphics really, i will just leave it in gamer mode.

bad news:

Crysis 2 - No dx11 support at launch, will be patched in later.

At 8050x1600 the game isn't really playable. I haven't done any FRAPS testing or anything but at 5760x1440 the "max settings" are playable.

There is definitely something wrong with this demo. I get like 7 FPS in all three settings of gamer, advanced and hardcore and they all look the same.

im getting over 100fps in gamer mode with my rig.

try re-installing the game.

im using 266.77 drivers.

It doesn't support quad sli maybe?

Thanks for link but are you sure that's accurate?

time to upgrade your system man

hardcore, 1680x1050, vsync, [AF 16x in NVCP]

Pier17 - 28min, 42av

Skyline? - 40min, 49av

Visuals seem to be basically FEAR 2 with some extra bloom/blur.

Gameplay is very cod but crytek haven't ever really had any MP pull for me, just used this as a ballpark benchmark.

Can't login to the game right now for some reason but I was averaging about 22 FPS in 3D @ 5760x1080 on Hardcore settings earlier when I was eyeballing it. Seems a little slow but it felt much faster.

about 40-60 fps at 1920*1200 on Hardcore. My dual core is at 100% usage, holding me back i'm assuming. But it's real smooth gameplay.

ok, Det kommande storspelet Crysis 2 har inte stöd för DirectX 11 vid lanseringen den 25 mars

I don't think you read his signature. His system is about as good as you can get. Beats the hell out of mine at least.

I don't think you understand sarcasm ;)

Lol dx9 only. Fuck this console port shit.

I'm surprised you guys are even getting in? Whenever I try to log on the system is ridiculously busy.

35-60fps on 2560x1600 Hardcore. That's about the same as what I get when maxing out Crysis Warhead (except for the big explosions) but that's when I run 4xAA, and I'm not sure what AA (if any) is going on in Crysis 2 multiplayer. The game also suffers in terms of smoothness at that frame rate far more than the original. Anyone getting odd views through glass? It doesn't look buggy, so much as just wrong. It's like looking through turbulent water, not straight glass. Move slightly and the view through glass waves around all over the place. Overall graphical fidelity is very good, but I'm not sure it's quite worthy of the performance, depending on what filtering is going on, since it can't be adjusted.

SAME... HERE I get 14 fps @ 4800x2560 I have to change res before I can play it.

On the Demo I was averaging high 40's with highs in the 60's and a couple of low mid 30's.

This was playing 1920x1080 Hardcore.

x3 Phenom @ 3.5 and unlocked 6950 2gb

I am a bit disappointed in the game, on the fence about purchasing it. leaning on no.

I see a lot of people unhappy with this 'preview' but being a multi-player demo isn't it normal that it would somewhat inferior compared to the actual game (not speaking about the weird frame rates some are getting)? Aren't multi-player modes always dummed down to accommodate the online aspect?

And for people not being able to get in or create an account, Crytek are having issues with their servers being overloaded.

Inferior? It's pretty much the same as the Leak, that is what people fear about..

Sum up, console port....

Once again, Console destroy a PC Game..

I am getting like 50 avg with my Rig... but the graphic is way dumb down compare to Crysis..

I don't have as high expectations as others maybe... I'm not awaiting for this game to über-exceed Crysis, I'm just hoping it will be enjoyable for what it is. From what I've seen so far, it is visually appealing enough for me to be interested. What I'd like to know now is if the actual game will be a good - but I will have to wait for the 25th and find out what the general opinion will be...
