With some old systems like that, why not go into a dual-setup while you're at it (SDTV and HDTV). I'm planning on moving into a bigger apartment with a spare room to turn into a retro-gaming cave. My HDTV and newer consoles will still be front and center in the living room.

How does your regular Xbox look on your LCD? is it too blurry? I have only 360 connected on my LCD but I do feel like connecting/playing some reg xbox games (since many I still have not even played yet) is it as bad as PS2? thanks

I have my old xbox connected to the same LCD (westy 37, in his sig it says sharp, but that's a westy in the pic I am pretty damn sure) via component @ 1080i and it looks ok.. it's not supe sharp, but mameox games look great on it I think.. that's all I use it for these days anyways.. you can get this to get the video to run via any vga input, but I have heard very mixed things about ordering from them..

yeah.. that's an older pic.. I sold the westy a while back. It was developing screen burns that was just annoying so I picked up the Sharp on a dell deal for $700 or so.

Just came across my old xbox setup, back when I was running a Pentium M Qpack! That was before my 3800x2, fx-60, and now my i7!!! The 360 is in the livingroom media closet and has been for years!

I know, the wiring job's a disaster, but there's not much I can do with it...

Elite 360, digital cable box, Samsung BD/HDDVD player. The Sony soundbar system was a hell of a surprise for $300, sounds great.

OK, you guys are an inspiration. I just messed with it and it looks a lot better. Still no wire ties (didn't feel like going to wal mart for em today) but thanks all the same!

A great camera will still take shitty pictures if you keep shaking. Use something to stabilize your camera in low light situations.
