Oh man, what I want right now is a PC-V1100B-BOW from PPC's.

I have a question for you guys. What would look better, I'm planning on putting some blue/green CCFL's in there and probably some more fans.

So what would look better, (2) 80MM holes cut in the clear side panel, (1) 120MM, or (1) 80MM?

Don't mind my stupidity, but how exactly do you plan on those fans fitting where you put them? You have the center case divider, the 5.25" bays and the HDD bays at the bottom. You can't put the fans there. And even if you could, why would you? All the components, the hot stuff, are at the other end of the case. Help Me! lol

he COULD put them on the outside but that not only would look kinda dumb, but i dont imagine it would be good for tha fans and the window...

place your fan to upper right corner to cool your video card, it's pointless to have a fan there since you got one 120mm intake fan to cool your HDDs so no need another side fan

haha pwned..,,.

I had no clue, like, I was looking at other people's pictures that they ordered cases from Performance PC's, and that you can select the number of pre-drilled case holes, so I was wondering what would look/perform the best.

Sorry for the big ass confusion ;)

Hey if you dont ask questions you'll never know..and be a Big Dummy
[Levellord] will hook you up for sure..just tell him what you need and let him sweat the details :D

Hey guys, don't mind me. I'm surely not pwning anybody. Yeah, you just let me know what you have and what you are wanting to do, and I'll find the best way to get the job done.

On another note. The new arrival is finally in stock... and is "music" to my ears. Watch for mods coming up. One of the PPCs employees is already deciding about picking one of these up.

Yes. I'm using a front, rear and side intake and top three exhaust. Using 120mm Filterright at all intake points, I get "0" dust in my case. Keeps it looking good much longer! So my CPU get's cool fresh air from the back, my GPU and PSU get cool fresh air from the side, and my HD get's it cold and fresh from the front.

Ah, so I see now. Those cases are your's and your wife's.......Very ingenious set up. I have never heard of that before but what a great idea. What speeds are you running the top three exhausts? How is the noise level too.

The cases look amazing by the way. I love the top grills. Look great...You reap all the benefits of working at Performance PC's....makes me jealous...

Is it the new Gigabyte Aurora 3D 570??? Those look awesome. Are you getting those in stock???

The three tops fans are Cooler Master Silent UV. Even at full RPM they are only 19dB. So at any RPM I just can't hear them. They are hooked into the Zalman fan controller so I can still turn them down at night, those LEDs are very bright. Light up the whole living room.

As far as the Aurora is concerned, I agree. Those do look nicer than the first Generations. However, those were a complete dud. We ordered like 16 of them, and only sold two. We even made the first windows for them. Them Gigabyte came out with a window for $10 more. I'm sure we'll try and get a few, but hopefully they'll take some of these crappers back for credit against the new ones. :D

Where can I get the custom text like the one on that RadGrill in the G70 made?

We had it custom lasered. We can have anything lasered if you want it. Just send the proper emails and we'll head you in the right direction.

Sweet looking case, btw.....But it is HUGE....Level, those fans at 19dB? That's amazing. You have a great set up. As I said, I'm jealous...... ;)

i would try a single 92mm fan their man would be perfect fit and no restrictions for airflow.

Personally, I would go with a 120mm over the 92mm. Quieter and move just as much air. But thats just me. :D

LevelL0rd,
Question for you. Have you done any official cooling testing between your modded CM-830 and the Goliath cases? I just finished building my latest rig with the Enermax Chakra and now taking ideas for my next build. I'm wondering which of the two cases actually cools better. Ever since I got the Chakra case with the 250mm fan I'm a big believer in them now. The CM-830 is a nice looking case but Goliath is cheaper and has that big ole quiet 250mm side fan. Any professional insight would be appreciated.

Hey Levell0rd,

is it possible to send in a Stacker 830 side panel to have a window added? I am thinking of picking up a black Stacker 830, but Performance-Pcs doesn't have the black stacker available at the moment, and I'd like to get the window added to the left side in a similar fashion to the Performance-PCs one.

They do have the black stacker in stock..if you look bac acouple of post..Levellord spoke on it :D

PC-75 windows... We finally got a case in for the black ones. And we've had several silver ones still. We're trying desperately to get Lian Li to continue making them. Flood them with emails to get them to keep making them. lol

My official vote between the 830 and the Goliath, would definately be the Goliath. Cheaper, lighter, much more versatile. (Trust me! lol) I really don't like the brackets that CM uses to house the fans. A real pain in the butt, just weird. Goliath, hands down.

In a word, "Yes." Send an email to our sales dept. (Sales@address) and they can set you up.

Yes, those top fans are all at 19 dB and the other three are max at 15 dB. Super quiet no matter what I set the Fan Controller to.

Just a couple quick questions, levellord:

For the watercooled Lian Li PC7, has the hard drive cage been moved or modified in any way to accomodate the front radiator? Also would having the pump above the resevoir be problematic for filling the loop?

Thanks

No, and absolutely not. In nearly all cases you would always want your system turned off before filling, but the pump up there does not cause any issues. I would love to make another one of those!

Just installed an H20-120 Premium kit from Switftech today into a Stacker 830 with window and Dual 120's. Sweeeeet. Just not my choice of case. Just alot of stuff you can't do with it.

Hey level, I am not trying to sound conceited here but can you do me a favor? I have been waiting nine months for my build. I just ordered all my parts yesterday including a $1000 oder from you guys. I want to build my computer this weekend but I need all my parts. It will be my first build ever. So my question to you is this? Can you try to get my parts out today or tomorrow so I can have my stuff on Friday? Is that possible? My order included a Silverstone TJ07 and a Silverstone 750 watt power supply custom sleeved among alot of other things. I would really appreicate it if you can do this for me. Thanks man!

Invoice Number 44264? I never get to work on cases the first day back from a weekend. The people we have who pull and ship the orders can never handle it. Slackers. I will do your case tomorrow morning. We'll shoot for getting it out, but I can't promise it because of the sleeving. That takes time and there are a ton of orders still. I'll see what I can do.

Yes, that is the invoice number. I really appreicate your help man. That is one of the main reasons I chose to order stuff from your website. Because the level of customer service you guys provide is unmatchable, even by newegg. Thank you again. I appreciate it.

I also have a question. Do you think I would need any noise dampening or any 7v cables for my fans? Because I don't want it to be too noisy. And I want it to cool well. What would you recommend?

Definitely get something to undervolt your fans, be it a permanent 12 - 7v converter cable or variable rheostat. Every case I've ever gotten has stock fans which are too loud. Then again, I am a silence freak, so maybe I'm a little biased.

Haha..Not really you just want QUIET....damit :D

With all do respect, it simply depends on what you consider "loud". Most Silverstone fans are about 20dB=+- a couple. If that's okay with you, then you are good to go. As far as sound dampening, in most cases what the material does most is trap heat. The Lian Li S80 is a "Quiet" case, right? I've heard more complaints about that case running very hot than any other case really. So you're only true option in making a case quieter is somehow undervolting the fans. Sound dampening traps the sound as well as the heat.

I did everything I could man. I made sure your power supply was taken care of this morning and I did your case... But the remainder of the sleeving didn't get taken care of. I will make sure it makes it out first thing tomorrow, but that won't help you get it by this weekend. I did my best, but I can't do everything. I had to take over shipping so one of them could get blood work done. We got more orders taken care of this way anyway. Sucks when UPS is waiting for us to finish. Altough, it also sucks when UPS is used to waiting and then I wait 30 minutes for them to show up! :D
