There may be a couple super custom G70's that are going to be available with hardware included. Check out the Want to Sell topic to find out more.

I'm hoping to have pictures posted of another W/C G70 today, but silver this time. And hopefully pictures of the latest W/C V2100 with some hardware in it. Had to leak test the V2100. Sweeeeeet. Nice and quiet.

Ladies and Gents... After another three hours, "Hers" is all done too. I still want to add a single 4" red cathode but all this was done from home and I didn't have it here. But, it's still awesome. I'm going to shut up now, here are the pics!

Hey James, Ive called Performance-PCS today & you mentioned about G70. Im assuming this it.

I like what you did with the case.
Especially with the fans on top.

Space is definitely an issue with me. I may have to go with a mid-case. any recommendations?

hardwares :

7950 gx2 card
a8n32 mobo
3 HD
2 dvd drives
750 watt thermalware psu
wifi pci card
tv card (thinking about it)
temp sensor led (would like it)

as for cooling issues..any thoughts??

Either of the new LL cases are mids: A-10 or B-20. You also can't go wrong with a PC-65 / PC-7.

I dont know if its possible to put 250mm fan in the front, but having a 250mm on the side, 120mm in the rear, & the 3 fans on top like your pc, would that drastically cut down on the heat?? also i thought about putting scythe ninja heatsink for the cpu.

If not then I may just have to save up some $ & get the watercooling.
I might as well wait & get the dangerden.
The water block for the graphic card & the cpu is bit costly. those 2 alone is about $250

Of course it would. And with the fans being as quiet as they are, you get the drastic cooling with no real noise. But, if you are going to move to water-cooling anyway, then I wouldn't bother paying for stuff you are going to replace anyway. Those 250mm fans are expensive.

New Delta fans are in stock................

92mm and 120mm x 38mm. The 92mm being the slowest pushing 142cfm of air. The 120mm pushing over 220cfm. We also have the 120mm x 76mm. Two sets of fins pushing the same 220cfm with 3 less dB. Sweeeeeet. :D :D :D

Compared to getting water cooling, is 2 x 250mm fan cheaper??
Im sure water cooling is more difficult to maintain than the fans.

Im sure there is a huge difference in the pricing too.
I did notice that the cases has a small vents.
If I can have the fans on top or creating a bigger vents. or both.

would that be a good substitute for water cooling? im trying to avoid water cooling if possible.

Ok, 2 x 250mm may be overkill.

Just one 250mm on the side, 120mm at the front, & 80mm in the rear.

There really aren't any new cases that allow an 80mm in the rear. I use a front, side, and rear 120mm intake and three 120mm top exhaust. I idle at 85F on air with 95F at load. Watercooling isn't necassary for me, but you also have hotter components. You can make anything work with enough ingenuity.

Yeah, about those Delta fans I talked about.... I've been given the "Go Ahead" to use them in a little project.... Here are the main sections to it. It's not done; we're down to little details for performance.

Yeah..that looks really nice level..is that your next system or for a customer??

i wish i had the talent and the guts to rip apart my black stacker 830 and mod it to go h2o cooling, i've seen one before being sold a silver one though, I wonder where to put a dual rad in this case...you guys rox

Stackers are a little challanging. They aren't really built for anything easy. I've done a single install from a kit for an 830, but that's about it. The top of the case is not suited at all for that sort of thing. What a waste of money in my opinion for exactly that reason. Anything you want to do is either difficult or ugly.

yhpm...

I didnt realize you can make a case from scratch. Thats pretty cool.

I did get the spec on the toughpower 750watt PSU. I hope this information helps.
250mm fan on the side
120mm fan front & rear & additional fans on the top of case hopefully will do the trick.

Okay. That should be the "non cable management" version. I'll try and test fit one of those for you today just to make sure you won't have any problems. Worst comes to worst, you either have to stick with the single 80mm up top or we can install a single radiator grill up there and slide it forward enough to maybe put a 120mm fan in. I'll let you know.

What size fans are those? Looking at the pic they look very big. 250mm fans? Or is it just camera angle and my perception that makes me think they are huge?

Those are too big to be 250mm.

Im curious if it is possible to put a filter on the 250mm fans.

What do those brackets look like?? Those are the Plus 2 side brackets from Lian Li fans. That would make them 120mm fans.

As far as filtering a 250mm, I've already covered this topic somewhere... I'll repost when I find it.

There's not really anything you can do about that. I have been able to filter using dryer sheets with some success on some Aerocool cases. It helps defuse the light from LED fans and makes them "glow" and gives your case that "spring fresh" effect. Using the clear ones and you don't really notice them behind the fan grill.

Yes, that is exactly what the Goliath would look like with a window. That is in fact the same window panel that the Goliath gets. I did two Goliaths this past week with solid panels. Both in the same day.

Anyway, case orders were kinda stagnant last week; I apologize for the slow goings. Everything will pick back up this coming week. Both shipping guys were out Wednesday for some concert, I was out Thursday for a funeral and our stock guy was out Thursday and Friday for a wedding. We'll be back in full swing this week. Thank you all for your patience!!

i can't find those delta fans on the web site, james. where are you hiding them? ;)

which heatsink is better, titan amanda (thermoelectric) or the new scythe ninja?

I would think the Amanda but I haven't had a chance to look at one.

..and consequently the official date of me ordering one from you is quickly approaching. :D

i just read that amanda is just for overclocking.

sounds like ninja is better if youre not overclocking.
