Hello everyone,
Are the Bifurcation Cards from C_Payne working well with Supermicro Motherboards? I have X10SDV one.

Think his cards are quality. I personally have used just Supermicro cards myself.

I am using a C Payne bifurcation card with a Supermicro X10SRi-F currently without any issues.

One more test, doubled the cable length to 75cm, and replaced the active carrier with passive, just in case I was hanging on by a thread.

Still got full gen 3 speeds ;-)

I know I'm probably a bit late for the party but does anybody still have the bifurcation BIOS for the ASRock Z87E-ITX?
I've bought an adapter from C_Payne to add some M.2 drives and give it a second life.

Hi,
Just found this while trying to reuse my old z97e. Would love to get that modified BIOS to turn it into something useful with a SAS controller and a 10G NIC.
If anyone still happens to have this BIOS laying around please let me know where I could grab it.

sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I have a question for anyone who got 16x to 8x8x working with two GPUs on the x399 Taichi:

What bifurcation card / solution are you using?

I tried these two (from AliExpress), with no luck so far:

• Eanootal MCIO 5.0 to PCIe 5.0 X16 Expansion Kit Dual MCIO 8i Riser Adapter Card with 2 Backplane Boards 500mm Cable
• RGEEK PCIe 4.0 X16 to Dual X8 Bifurcation Riser Card, X8X8 PCIe Splitter with 2x SFF-8654 8i SlimSAS Cables for GPU Server

Maybe my BIOS settings are wrong, but I think I tried the most obvious settings, like “above 4G”.
