2x16 GB DDR4 GSKILL 3200mhz XMP
Seasonic Tx-850 Ultra Titanium
Gigabyte Rtx 3090 Gaming stock
Aorus Z490 Pro Gaming
1 TB SSD

I have my pc till April 2021. All was fine. All apps and games working without shutting off system. My pc is 24hours on in idling Windows 10 desktop. Today just suddenly pc powers off.
Pc was in desktop Windows 10. In some moment i heard CLICK from pc case and pc goes off.
I rebooted and its fine again. I checked power in house, and power was on.
My question. Is my pc failing? Why it shutted down? Or maybe it was voltage spike in house and pc only react?

It's fine. Close the thread. This issue will be nearly impossible to single out because it's random. Enjoy the PC!

2 months ago it shutted down too.It can be caused by ssd or kraken x73? Or more likely psu, gpu, ram, cpu?

Check your cpu temps the pc will shutdown to protect itself if it is overheating... I recommend using prime95 to stress the cpu and use you favorite temp monitoring software to check temps. If the temps are inline with what intel recommends then the next thing that I would look at is the psu it could be failing.

But...I have on bios UEFI Automatic reboot after power loss ON. So if power back after 1 second, pc should reboot. But pc stayed off.

Maybe a voltage spike? I woke up this morning and my computer was off. You might have spikes and the power goes off quickly and then back on - sometimes the electronics stays off and needs to be manually turned on again.

1 - ups
2 - close thread

the other night i had four power blips during the snowstorm, only the pc stayed on. im not worrying about the rest of the house...

I mean you could even go down the road of blaming cosmic rays. Can't really test it but sometimes that is at the end of the road of troubleshooting a random problem. I've had to come up with really creative ways to explain such instances to upper management when analyzing product failures and not sound crazy lol.

Until you can repeat it on demand, intermittent issues aren't worth stressing about and creating tons of threads about the same thing.

Psionic powers. You were thinking about your PC and the electromagnetic field from your brain tripped a voltage regulator (the click) and it shut down to protect itself from your newfound abilities.

Aliens misfired their mind probe laser and it hit the computer on accident.

All your base are belong to us.

Do you have a surge protector or battery backup/UPS? If not, get one and plug your PC into that before you do anything else, especially if everything else is still working once you turned it back on.
