I'd go with a P5K-E with the 503 bios. To me that bios is the most stable.
what about 0806? Came out on 11.12.07
Actually, that's not really a concern for me as I've known about it for a while (same with my current mobo). Kinda sad to see they haven't fixed that yet though.
Hi I am new here
I am thinking about a similar setup
ABIT IP35 Pro LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2
I just wanted some opinion
what kinda of pwer supply would I need for that.
Thanks
totally depends on what gpu you plan on adding..
I have the P5K-E wifi. Much better and more stable than the Gigabyte p965 DS3 which I replace. No more cold boots after failed overclocking. Overclocking is easier and more options. And more available options to flash bios from. Only problem is cant seem to performed a fresh install of XP Pro on a new Hard Drive but Vista have no problem performinga fresh install.
Just bumping a old thead since I didn't want to make a new on the same topic.
Does the P5K-E offer just about the same overclocking ability as the P5K Deluxe? I'm looking to get around 450 FSB stable with the E8400 when it comes out.
Can you just disable the WiFi in the P5K-E?
I have a nice Hawking USB2 adapter (gets signal literally through 3 floors) I'd rather use.
I've been reading alot about the Abit IP35 Pro, and I've found alot of rave reviews, and very few flaws...abit had just too much vdrop for my likings, went with p5k dlx.
