I just realized that the case I got from newegg might be the new P182 case.

It got the back and top fan controller on the back of the case and have the two tube holes

So just to let you guys know.

Looks like you are the proud new owner of a P182B...lucky dog! The big tip off is the cutouts in the MB tray so you can actually wire it neatly, and that you can cram the 24 pin cable back there too. When did you order this?

someone email newegg and make sure that you willl be able to get it (the p182)

Yeah, I'm almost thinking of retiring my 1 month old Best Buy $80 silver old version P180 to get this case. It covers a lot of stuff I could do better with the new features and not have to rip mine apart to cut more holes in it.

well i ordered at the end of last month on vista release date

so have it for a while now all built together.

like maybe 1 week + now

thats not a p182, its not shiny or anyhting, it doesnt have any more fans or anything. thats just a p180

well i think p182 have the water cooling thing in the back

the fan control in the back

and the lifed mobo tray in the side

mine have those.

so it is prob a rev p180b case. not a org one

anyone have confirmation? can you please post better pics compare to the one tht you posted already? and also you mentioned predrilled holes on the back of the case for wc? is that true ? most of all we need confirmation

That is a P182B... what makes me a sad panda is that they never made any provisions for the PSU area... so people with larger PSU's won't be able to use this case without modding and removal of that plate :(

I don't think there is a lot they could do without lengthening the entire case
which is actually a good idea, but then they should just make an all around bigger version about the size of a Stacker

and if they put 3 of those 4 hard drive cages like on the bottom in it and 2-3 5.25 slots, that would be perfect

edit: something like this, crappy MS Paint job

ok seriously by those pics it aint a p182. i cant see any water cooling holes and the color in that article about the p182's looks like the door is a stainless steel, or a silver or gun metal color and not just black, so for us to make sure it is a p182 can you take better pictures, and take them with a nice camera not a camera phone and take a pic of the controller and the holes.

Look at those pics closer. You can clearly see the holes on the motherboard side through which he routed those cables = p182 exclusive.

I do wish it was 1-2" longer and taller.

dude you should send this into antec and see what they say. that looks sick. well i did see the mobo holes but i just want him to take more pics of stiff, those pics he already has are shity.

there are some really nice looking cases there. I'm really happy with the directions Antec is going these days (looks at 3 Antec cases in various rooms of my house)

forgot to lengthen the PSU area
also cleaned it up a bit

If they ever make that I will be the happiest camper in the world. That is my IDEAL case. Add a second 120mm on the top and you have a killer machine (to be even smarter, make the two top 120mm fans adjustable so it can fit radiators of various size/positionings!

I just bought a P180B today from frys and it was the old revision. The salesguy said it came in last night and they were still on the freight pallet.

Damn Ender, remove the 2 hard drive cages and you'll have great dual rad potential.

the extra hard drive cages are the whole point
I don't care about watercooling - big waste of money
and dual rads are an even bigger waste

-widen the case and stick a super 240 up top
-move the bottom 120 to the front
-add a side 240
-move the usb ports up top ala 900

- Increase case depth by 1-2"
- Remove all the external drive bays except for 2 5.25"and add more 120mm fan mounts instead.
- Widen the case so 6 hdds can fit in the bottom hd bay and remove the upper hd bay.

Just got back from Fry's and apparently a v1.1 case is NOT what I'm looking for. So does your box say v1.2 OP?

Not to beat a dead horse, but the OP did not get the P182.

There is no fan next to the M/B in the P182, and in his poor picture you can clearly see a fan.

Yes he did. There is no fan next to the mobo in his pics, unless you are talking about the one hanging off a drive bay, which is clearly ghetto modded in.

It's confirmed that he has a P182, the P180 just doesn't have the same features and his description and pictures only seems to confirm the fact that it's a P182.

Not to beat a dead horse, but you are clearly wrong.
His case = P182

It still looks like that fan is mounted where it's suppose to go in his picture. Would be nice to get some better pictures of it.

And judging from the extra connection block on the audio header it supports IntelHD :D now i can get my xfis front connector fully working (full mic power and jack sensing)
