Ordering a Wii Component Cable

Yup, got mine today. Same retail packaging too. I ordered mine late afternoon the Sunday the Wii went on sale. When I originally placed my order, they were instock, I had them overnighted. Then they weren't instock, and then I got notice they shipped yesterday. Need to hook them up...65" Toshiba Cinema Series has been waiting patiently for them to arrive.

Hurray they are shipping again!!

I ordered my on the 20th.. I hope I get them next week..

mine shipped last night and eta is monday :( i should've got overnight shipping...

Mine come in Tuesday :(

Oh well, $40 for cables was pushing it as it was, the PS2 components cost me $20.

Anyone who connects their Wii to an amp, should know that the audio cables do not seperate from the video ones. They only go about 6 inches.

ordered mine a few days ago and i haven't gotten any e-mail besides the one confirming they got my order :(

Edit: never mind just checked the Nintendo store order status and it says backordered :(

Wonder why Nintendo did not have a few million of these made up in time for the launch...?

thanks for the reminder.
I actually forgot about this. not really a problem though, as i can just move the HD adaptor closer to the reciever.

If you need red/white extensions though, Radio Shack is your friend.

when are the nintendo ones and the 3rd party ones going to be avialable in the stores?

sometime in the middle of this month, if you can find them.

I ordered the component cable, Wii-mote and nunchuk from Nintendo's website on Monday, Nov. 27. Figured it was better than trolling all the retail stores in my area looking for them to show up, but was doubtful I would receive anything before X-Mas (the Wii is a gift for my son)

I received a message today from Nintendo that my order was in the final stages. I checked the order status and they have shipped the component cable today UPS red for delivery on Monday! Wii-mote and nunchuk still on backorder though.....

I ordered the cables on 27th also. So hopefully mine get delivered next week as well. Been dying to play Zelda without composite.

I ordered my component cables on Friday, November 24th around 5PM.

I got an e-mail this afternoon (December 2nd) and they had shipped. Logged into the Nintendo site, and there was a tracking number - should have them Monday or Tuesday.

I have no Wii though :(

Mine finall came in today after ordering on the 21st. Either Nintendo threw in some Saturday delivery (not likely) or UPS just felt like delivering it anyways.

I just got two of the RCA couplers at radioshack to and used a spare set of RCA interconnects to connect audio to the receiver.

I ordered mine on the 30th and it has been backordered since then.

I checked today and it says they're "preparing order" :)

my shipment just got delayed from tomorrow to wednesday

Tell me about it. Its getting really annoying. I have been picking up things as I find them. So far I have the component cables, zelda, wiimote, nunchuk, classic controller; but damn it; I don't have the actual Wii yet. Its like they are sitting there and taunting me.

got mine yesterday, shipped thursday, 2 day shipping.

How did I live without it... composite was total shite on my 92" widescreen...

How long did it take to go from "preparing order" to getting it shipped out for you guys?

I ordered mine yesterday, it say spreparing order...how long before you think it'll ship?

I ordered mine from Nintendo the day after launch, they've been delivered, but I am out of the country right now, so I didn't jones to badly not having them before Ieft.

I know it's not going to be 720p good, but I hope it's good enough ;) Anything has to be better than composite.

Best Buy in Oxnard, CA has just received 4 pairs of Psyclone Component Cables for the Wii. Call your local Best Buys and ask them to look up this SKU, 7985727. The cables are 59.99, so they are the more expensive ones, but who cares with my lovely employee discount that brings them down to a little over 25 dollars!

I'm even jealous of myself!

That is one hell of a discount, do they just give it to you at cost + a few bucks or something?

I got mine straight from Nintendo, they arrived today! Hopefully when I get home from work in a bit I'll be playing Zelda in 480p :)

I just got my wii component cables in today from Nintendo, but have given up on purchasing a Wii! Any interest?

How much? I grabbed the 13th of 13 Wii's this morning after sitting inside for 6 hours.

Much better than the 38hrs I waited for the PS3.

"The Ultimate Upgrade for you Wii", huh?

I thought that's what the pills and pumps were for...

My cable finally shipped... My Wii was supposed to arrive today but got to my city a few hours after the delivery truck left. :(

Hope the cable gets here quicker than the Wii
